Hi, I'm trying to do a mesh swap between your dedicated silver hand set and the main set. The silver hand set is by far my favourite, but I don't really have a need for more than one variant, so I wanted to save the plugin. I'm also trying to package (for personal use only) it with a set of UHD silver sword textures from the oldrim nexus. But I can't seem to find the first-person meshes for the silver hand set? I'm not sure if this will even effect me since this is for a VR game which with VRIK are always technically in 3rd person, but I'd rather have it consistent if possible.
- Not sure if I understand the plugin question part right but there's 3 kinds of the standalone plugin named "SilverEdgeStandalone.esp" where one of them includes the Silver Hand set; the mentioned set doesn't have its own separate plug-in.
* It's the "Silverhand LL" selection when installing the mod using a mod organizer installer. Each selection uses their own "SilverEdgeStandalone.esp" as mentioned above.
-- As for the Silver Hand set's own "1stPersonSilversword.nif" or "1stPersonSilvergreatsword.nif", it doesn't have any and you'll need to relocate the files inside "Silver Hand Weapons\meshes\weapons\SilverEdge\SilverHandSet" of the mod installer and rename them into the following:
* SHSilverEdgeGS.nif - > "1stPersonSilvergreatsword.nif" and "Silvergreatsword.nif" * SHSilverEdgeSword.nif - > "1stPersonSilversword.nif" and "Silversword.nif"
** The "1stPersonSilversword.nif" or "1stPersonSilvergreatsword.nif" and relevant original files mentioned above regarding variants 1-4 are for the vanilla replacers and different from what the standalone file uses.
Hope this helps, and many thanks for using the mod in VR as well!
Beautiful Mod, looks brilliant! I see that the Silver Sword enchantment isn't showing up on the new weapons, do they still affect the undead the same way as vanilla?
Thanks! Yes, they do have the enchantment, or to be specific the "Perk" script copied from the vanilla Silver Sword. I can't remember if it's supposed to show up in the disenchant list even if they don't have a "EITM - Object Effect" entry in their data.
If you're looking for the "Especially effective against undead" flavor text then it's removed because iirc it overlaps the enchantment text of the sword when you put enchantments on the Silver sword/greatsword (not sure if it's a mod or vanilla where you can enchant the silver weapons).
Stunning work. The Variant 4 onehanded and twohanded....that section right in the middle of the crossguard....a diamond or other gem would look spectacular there. I guess that's a hint haha
Is there no way to have two variants available without doing just the standalone that gives you all of them? I love variant 1 and 2 so much! I wouldn't mind having 4 be a replacer though for the Silver Hand and stuff.
Thanks and glad you like the first 2! Not quite sure I understand about the first part you mentioned but you can always use the standalone plugin with the Silver Hand set, where you can safely ignore variants 3 & 4 and only craft variants 1 & 2 to use them to your liking. You will only find the Silver Hand set as loot without seeing any variants brandished by any related npc (hopefully) in this case as well.
If you're requesting for a variant 4 Silver hand set, I would be forced to do all of the variants as well and for each category of weapon too to make sure everything's covered just in case. Maybe I'll get back to that when I figure out the Silver Hand's boss (Krev) equipment.
Sorry about that; this is due to the conversion process using SSE Nif Optimizer. I have yet to tinker with CAO on converting meshes and see if this problem would be solved using the said program.

Is there any patch that Vigilant of Stendarr will have have these cool swords via LL or SPID?

Regardless, absolutely beautiful work, as usual.
