Changelogs
Arcana Miscellanea is a simple mod adding wind spells and distraction spells to the game. Useful as a way to provide immersive alternatives to some shout effects without being forced into main quest. You can buy those spells from any court wizard or from vendors in College of Winterhold.

ATTENTION
In version 2.0.0 I fixed typo in plugin name, breaking compatibility with existing save games. If you want to update mid-playthrough, you can
still do it - just remember to change plugin name to "Arcana Miscellanea.esp" after every update. Sorry!

Spells

Destruction
Apprentice
  • Wind Gust - Conjure a gust of wind, staggering enemies in front of you and dealing low damage.
Adept
  • Wind Rune - Cast on a nearby surface, it explodes when enemies come near throwing them back and dealing low damage.
Expert
  • Wind Surge - Conjure a powerful surge of wind, sending enemies in front of you flying and dealing low damage.
Master
  • Tornado - Conjure a tornado that flings victims into the air. Deals 10 points of physical damage per second.

Illusion
Apprentice
  • Ghost Sound - Create a distracting sound, grabbing the attention of enemies.
Adept
  • Still Image - Summons a phantasmal decoy for 15 seconds wherever the caster is pointing, taunting and distracting your enemies. It can't deal any damage and it is immobile.
Expert
  • Major Image - Summons a phantasmal decoy for 15 seconds wherever the caster is pointing, taunting and distracting your enemies. It can't deal any damage and it runs away from enemies.

Compatibility

This mod edits Whirlwind Cloak spell to belong to alteration school. If you use a mod overhaul like Odin or Mysticism, I encourage you to let load this mod after them. I previously encouraged the opposite, but I changed my mind.

Other than that, this mod should be fully compatible with spell mods and shouldn't require a bashed patch.
