Hello, I have this mod at the highest priority(MO2 says it only overwrites Rustic Deadra anyways) but my spells look white anyways, i don't see a hint of purple. Is it possible that something is still over-writing it despite having lower priority(or the overwrite folder?) or could that be just my ELFX, ELFX Shadows and Community Shaders making it look so non-purple?
Granted i only tested sparks, but I Am sure those being the very basic were included
Hello, to be honest i am not sure friend. Are you using enb? maybe that can also alter the spell colors bit. This mod does have a bit of white but in a normal case you should be able to see the purple so I am unsure how to help. Maybe try only using my mod just for testing purposes and see what comes out.
I actually tried for your mod, but then it uses the vanilla ones, I'd need a way to remove those particles from the game completely. I think the raw lightning without those small particles would look more badass
The file fxsparkfieldgreysmall.dds makes fire particles look square if using an enb, happens in the original file too, if deleted the fire looks good again, also fire related textures should probably be deleted from the mod.
maybe its just the enb, silent horizons but is not load order, i tried with only voltage enabled and nothing else, and the fire still looked square until i deleted that file
Some screeshot to see what i mean: Fire and voltage: https://imgur.com/a/k0vxaCB Fire and voltage without fxsparkfieldgreysmall.dds : https://imgur.com/a/QxsepDI still just deleting the file fixes it and i don't see any difference in the mod, still looks great specially with this recolor, so not a big deal, maybe the comment helps someone with the same issue.
I know it's been very long since you posted this comment but please tell me how you made inferno look that gorgeous. I've been experimenting with enb lights and various enbs presets to get this result while tinkering with saturation, gamma, contrast, hdr range etc, alas to no avail.
Hello 👋 Sorry but I haven't been playing for a while so I don't remember correctly but I think I used Rudy ENB with obsidian weathers with some changes. Hope it helps 🙏
Hello, I am a Mod Author for Skyrim on Xbox and I was wondering If I could include this mod into a mod pack that i'm working on. Including this into a mod pack helps console players negate the 150/150 mod limit. I will give credit and link back to your nexus profile page as well. I hope this message finds you well! :)
Uhh didn't Catir just make The same mod basically a little while ago? what's different about this one?
Edit: actually this one is more purple and the outlining sparks are a bit more transparent, and the impacts are purplish blue. Well I guess this comment is still useful for letting people compare
Having used both texture mods, I have to say I prefer this one more. I found that with my ENB and weather combo (Rudy+Obsidian) Catir's textures looked too faded and washed out for my tastes. The lightning effects were closer to white than purple. The more saturated purple tones of this mod really help to counteract this, making the colors more closely match vanilla lightning effects.
Just came across this thread. My Voltage recolor was something I made for myself and decided to share; considering the base textures aren't mine in the first place (heck, I'm not even an artist, I'm a quest mod project lead), I'm hardly in a position to complain about another person recoloring them too (which, even if I was, I wouldn't).
It's like they say--different strokes (and textures) for different folks; for some ENBs, weathers, and user tastes, the higher-saturated textures in Near Voltage look better, for some, the lower-saturated textures in Thunderbolt look better, and so on and so forth. Giving users options to choose from in cases like this is only ever a good thing for the community. Great color work, Daniel, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your texture mods in the future.

Maybe if you hide the impact decals folder you can make them go away
This file also has zero conflicts in my LO so it's definitely not it.

I will remove the fire texture next update just in case.
Thanks for the feedback

And ty for the words, I also hope I can release some more mods while I play this game.
