I know this is probably presumptuous, but I know absolutely nothing about modding and was wondering if anyone knows of/can make a patch for Millwater Retreat and Interesting NPCs? There is an Argonian man fishing at the lake and his stuff is clipping into Millwater Retreat...Idk if that will cause pathing issues, either for the Argonian or the workers at Millwater.
On a side note, these patches are great and I really, really appreciate your hard work!
I just found a another weird issue. When approach the mill I CTD. But if I fast travel to the log cutting part of the mill no CTD until I face the location where Riverwood forest put the building with frost spiders. I'm still testing things out to see if there is a some type of mod conflict. If you have any suggestions let me know.
Update: It was the CFTO patch, deactivated no longer CTD desktop when looking at boat area after arrival. But now it STD after approx. a minuet now mater what your doing including doing nothing after respawn in from a save. Will continue looking for conflicts.
Millwater Retreat just updated to 2.2. Looking at the change log it seems at least some of your patches - and the Financial Overhaul - won´t be needed and / or working anymore. Could you have a look and confirm - or deny - that? I´m not sure about updating or staying with the current version. Thanks!
Thanks for alerting me to this. Just when you think a patch is done.... Obviously the smelter patch is no longer needed in 2.2, although I will leave it here for those who are still on earlier version and don't want to update mid playthrough. The others I'll have to take a look at when I can, but may be a little while. Real life and all...
Yeah, I just discovered that. I thought loading Riverwood Forest after Millwater Retreat and before the patch would fix it, but it doesn't seem to. I'll take the patch down until I can fix it. Thanks for the heads up.
If you mean the body in the basement, a message pops up low on the screen when you activate it the first time. It's easy to miss--I did--but it says to crouch and activate the body to rem0ve it.
I missed the reference in the description about load order, twice, I'm definitely moving toward senility. After changing the load order too: MillwaterRetreat.esp Riverwood Forest Patches.
Which fixed land rips and floating trees but now I have ground and grass in the back of the office and the Bunkhouse is a little worse the whole side of the hill covers the bunkhouse up to a little past the door. Is that normal? I don't have a clue as to where I can find the carpenters.
Ok, I have uploaded a new version of the Millwater Retreat - Riverwood Forest patch which I THINK fixes nearly all the landscape tears and seams, floating trees, rocks, islands, etc, and most of the clipping. I'd like to say I fixed everything, but I find more every time I play. Nevertheless, this version is MUCH better than the first. Thanks for the input and the patience. If you find more problems with it, please let me know and I will attempt to fix them.
Just an FYI something about the CTFO patch makes my game consistently crash if I get within visual range of the retreat. I have narrowed it down and it is definitely that specific patch doing it. Not sure why, just thought I'd let you know in case it helps.
Interesting. I don't know much about facegen--I have never modded NPC's before. I just followed the instructions I found. Maybe I did something wrong? I'll try to look at it as soon as I am able.
I just ran this mod with my full load order and a minimal test order, and had no problem with either one. I wonder if it is a VR/SE thing? I don't play SE, but I do own it, so I could test it there. Let me try that.
Well, it does appear to be a VR/SE thing, as my SE also crashes as soon as I approach the dock, but it works fine in VR. I don't have any idea how or why that can even be, but I'll work on it.
Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't seen that. Based on the changelog, it looks like all the changes were textures, meshes, and lighting, but I'll try to take a look in the next few days and update them if need be.
Is it possible to make a patch for the dragon resting just across Lake Ilinalta, opposite from Millwater retreat. So they least not agro eachother.
Not sure which mod did added that dragon there or if it vanilla dragon, but it constant agro and fly around attacking millwater npc and if use mihail goblins, Obis patrols and Obis, Lake Ilinalta and crossroad from falkreath and whiterun border becomes a nightmare with massive battle between guards, bandits, dragon, goblins and millwater npc and the hunter. The only way to survive as new character lvl 1 there is use a calm spell from another mod to make all mobs passive for few sec and use it few times till passed by.
I'm using Splendor - dragon varriants, diverse dragon collection, Bellyaches new dragon species and Immersive creatures beside some lose mihail creatures and some other lose creatures from skinwalker (but those last 2 mod sets don't add dragons). Yes I also have intresting NPC's installed, but not yet managed to check if there issues with millwater retreat, the only navmesh that npc use though is go to his tent sleep, back to his bench to fish or lean against the wall next his tent. But i seen from afar a bridge and that might clip with his boat laying along the beach.
No patch needed, it was Bellyaches New Dragon species that placed that dragon there, if choose Kells or Bellyaches option, not sure what the other 2 options do beside make them alone or all dragons stronger, but the leveled list option solves the problem.
I know it took a ridiculously long time, but I was reviewing all my mods and saw your comment, which reminded me I had never done this. Sorry about that. It's under optional files now.

EDIT: Of course, now you may need a patch for that. :)
