I know this is probably the wrong place to ask but I was wondering if someone out there knows about a issue regarding hair colours becoming a bright colour. Like grey for example being red and light blond being a bright orange. I only ask this because Arngeir, Edda and a few elderly people that use the bright grey colour, have bright red hair but they’re perfectly fine when I start a save up on startup where I’m right next to them. Loading a new cell seems to turn it back to red.

From what I can decipher, I found all of this:
    - It’s not definitely NPC replacers. Since this issue also applies to the default hair colours in race menu.
    - I do have one hair colour mod but that doesn’t seem to be the cuplrit. Plus this issue happened WAY before I had the hair colour mod of my choice.
    - I heard it might be a enb issue but I don’t use enb at all.
    - I do use Salt and Wind Textures for hair but those are just textures. My problem is the colour.
    - Looking up solutions yields no results for me. They are either unrelated, people posting solutions for the missing texture purple hair bug (which isn’t my problem) and for some god forsaken reason, Baldur’s Gate 3 results when I literally searched Skyrim.

I’m seriously at a lost and I’m trying to reach out to people who might help me.

Changing the editor IDs to match would definitely help people editing faces in the CK. I did it myself for personal use.

Can do you think on PlayStation players? At least add a .esp files.

Is it possible to somehow make this work with the Kireina facegen overhaul? Would be awesome to have both nice faces and nice hair colors.

Cool, though is facegen really needed for hair color changes to apply to NPCs? I know hair texture isn't a factor in the facgen, only the hair mesh.   But are these values baked into the facegen data?

Yes, hair tint values are baked into the facegeom meshes themselves.

      Damn,

Well if I ever rebuild the HMB facegen I will likely include this.,

Could you make a patch for Pale Beauty?

I just checked and the only hair color that Pale Beauty edits is the "Blue Black" color (which despite the name was never really blue, more like a very dark grey) so there's no need for a patch. Whichever plugin you place last in your load order will overwrite the other's color. From the RGB values I see in xedit, the Blue Black from Pale Beauty will actually look slightly blue, whereas with my plugin it stays close to the dark grey from vanilla, but a bit more brown.

The mod is great. Just one question, what hair textures do you use?

Thanks! I use mainly Nordic Faces which is a package of several mods (with my own additions on top), alongside High Poly Vanilla Hair. The hair textures included in Nordic Faces are the 2K Rough option from Superior Lore-Friendly Hair. I'll add that to the description. Also Brows and Beards.
