I like this mod. I also hope that there is no shadow and not only related to the sun light, but this may indeed be a cognitive difference in Eastern cultures
Is it this mod that's causing the better vampires sun visuals to not appear? Anyone else have this issue? I'm not charring up, and it's noon right now so I find it hard to believe I'm not in a good spot for the sun.
check your bv setting I use both this and bv , I'm exempt at rank 1 , but still have slight setting on and regen in shade, so still slight smoke effect at in the sun..
Hello powerofthree I'm still casting shadows in sun, with the default choice in fomod , whilst traveling in falkreath to pick up a follower, level 15 vanilla redguard vamp, excet with a couple hair skin mod, but this was installed just very recently, ... It was 10 am morning sunny day , so I don't think its working for me, If I chose the older ver in the fomod, a dll message would pop ...
Different cultures have different attributes to vampires, with the "blood sucking" being the foundation.
IMO the hollywood vampire is the lamest one, because they're cheap and you can just write off things like "cast no shadow" since it'd be hard to make a movie, I would guess.
No, for certain on the premise that they have no reflection they do not cast shadows either for the same related reason.
Have read scads of vampire stuff and it holds as a custom of beliefs, for logic if one is true the other stands as credible, am just impressed someone made a mod with this esoteric detail. Getting it just for whatever edge it may deliver. I'm with edison on the sparkle thing too.
this mod claims to stop the shadows in the sun, what about the shadows from campfires.. doesn't do that.. would be nice if you just made the mod," vampires - cast no shadows PERIOD !" i would download that right now.
I recently had a CTD when entering Falkreath and the Crashlog was interesting in that the first thing it mentions is the crashlogger.dll... Anyway, there appears to be some NPC pathing issues for one or more Volkihar Vampires most likely summoned by one of my random encounter mods, and this mod was also mentioned in the log. I'm sharing it with you just in case the information is useful for you... Like I said earlier, I don't think it was this mod, it was not daylight, so I don't know how/if this mod would have come into play. I only know that it shows up in the log at RSP+270.
wonder if there are some editable records for other sources of lighting. not even sure where to start, or if it's already baked into the engine. Hopefully TES6 no longer has these limitations. Man can only dream.

Really wish people would learn to read.

Re Edit chose to play a male new start play thru , so it only works out doors in the sun, and not indoor during daylight hours , that right ?
