Just downloaded the mod, looks awesome, but Arano Manor is covered halfway in sand, even the guard there is half covered is that a mistake or intentional?
Just wanted to expand on my comment below... Genesis of Solstheim does affect Skyrim in a big way if you're using terrain parallax. I thought that I would be okay just overwriting the mod but you actually have to go into xEdit and remove quite a bit (LTEX and LAND records) or you wind up with spiky terrain all over the place. I love this mod because it turns Solstheim from my least favourite place aesthetically to my most favourite but to others wanting to use this... there is some work involved in getting it to sit in your LO properly. I really hope this gets updated to fix the few little glitches (this and the silent grass)... I'd even be willing to take a crack at it with my very limited modding ability because it deserves more recognition than it gets. Unfortunately in its current state, it's beyond my capability so I have find an alternative.
Genesis of Solstheim doesn't just affect Solstheim. It also changes the textures of several terrain in Skyrim including snow and grass. How can I fix this?
I'm not sure that this is the correct way to do this but I just used xEdit and overwrote any worldspace edits in Skyrim with the other mods I was using and overwrote all of the worldspace edits in Solstheim with this mod. Actually I did it twice... once before I made my smashed patch and then again after. Again... not sure if that's the correct way but it seemed to work for me. Still can't solve all of the environmental noise turning off whenever I walk in the grass though.
I think this blocks the entrance to " ashfalls tear" a standard Skyrim location with quests.. thanks and patiently waiting updates with interiors , love this mod!
Could you make it so that the statues use the vanilla paths so that if someone has statue replacers installed they will show up (for example from mandragorasprouts daedric statue replacers)? Currently despite the fact that I have these replacers installed, the statues in Raven Rock still use vanilla assets
The new houses can not be entered upon arrival to Raven Rock, ie the doors do not act as a transition activator and do nothing when activated. Is this intentional? Does it change when the mine is reopened?
I have the same issue. doors act like they will open; however, you cannot enter houses. it sort of ruins the immersion. I love how much greener and pleasant the island looks though.
