      So I have it a go and it appears that it doesn’t work :\ I installed FISSES. Looks great!

   What about the time? AMoT comes with a clock to indicate the time of the day, a very important feature to me and I don't see it in the screenshot.

      The bar is a 12h "solar clock"
      
      on the screenshot, is a little before 9am (the bar goes from 6 to 6, and the icon changes from a sun to a moon at night)
      the vertical markers on the bar each represent a 3 hour interval

   Are the sun and moon on opposite sides of the compass part of this preset/AMoT?  If so what do they represent?

      Yeah! The moon is an indicator of the moon phase and the sun is an indicator of season.
      
      In this case, sun means summer :)
