Ever since I found this and installed, It hasn't left my game. Gives the game that pop of a color spectrum and is much appreciated. This is after continuously trying other Reshades. Endorse this awesome Reshade. Have fun.

I'm using version three and it looks quite amazing. Just the bit of pop I wanted in my game. I'm curious though, do you recommend shutting off AA in game? No FXAA or TAA? I know a lot of these shader presets don't need that but you didn't say in the description.

I personally like the in game TAA.
However it does come with a frame rate cost so you have to decide for yourself.
This preset is rather simple and does not include any AA shaders so if you want it then it will have to be either added to the preset or use the in game TAA.

Now i can enjoy texture mods and fasterhdtsmp without worries. Rarely had ENB dips but when they happen out of a sudden its annoying.
I also decided to use Filmic Tonemapping.
Together with DynDOLOD Terrain Underside Mesh and good LODs it produces a Distant Shadow effect which isn't possible by other means and it also makes Shadows much better overall. Not much a fan of Godrays outside Forests but within if combined with all this they look crazy especially with Morning Fogs and mists.
Your Color Balance and Contrast configuration with Obsidian Weathers almost gave a Blue to Purple Sky Effect when the sun goes down which is quite close to Cathedral Weathers just subtler/ smoother. Everything is balanced.
There is nice fading in of distant objects with the lighting especially when coupled with subtle DOF as well as for Grasses and Plants.
On top of that Night Realism is excellent. Very Dark without Moons and Stars and normal otherwise.
I also like how slightly distinguishably lighter the night sky looks in the distance behind Trees. Also when it rains. Dungeons + Torches just how i like them and Dwemer Dungeons with Ancient Dwemer Metal/ Pipework redone are crazy. Winterhold Glaciers also blend well with Snow and Water plus Weather with the exception of some slightly glowing Ice Rubble Meshes of Skyrim.
Only lighting mod i use is Relighting Skyrim and Windows Shadows. Simply awesome.

hours messing with enb settings and it never looks good overall, i gave up with that and realize I just needed something simple, this does the work, the fps loss isn't worth it with ENB. I did some tweaking here tho and added a little DOF which came nice. Thanks for the preset.

This preset is super simple and just adds some vibrancy to the colors for a very minimal frame rate hit.
It can’t offer things like complex particle lights or wet surfaces but it can offer more sharpness, contrast and color balance.
So it comes down to what you really want.
I am personally using Rudy ENB in my game but at the time this was created I was looking for a low frame rate cost alternative to just spice my colors up.
Glad it’s still helping people to enjoy their game :)

Thank you! My game looks so much better now! I wonder why ENB is more popular, when the FPS considerably drops that it shouldn't be worth it. This is practically as good as any of the top ENB settings out there, but without the FPS drop.

ENB still offers more than any reshade can. That’s why it’s still the option most people go for.
wet surfaces, particle lights, cloud shadows, reflections off surfaces, SSAO, SMAA and more is what ENB offers, and yes it does come at a high cost of frame rate.
But if all you really want is more vibrant colors, increased contrast and fake HDR or if you’re already struggling with framerate this is a viable option.
I created this because I was struggling to keep 48+ frame rate and ANY ENB was dropping my framerate to a slide show of 15-20 on a 1060 GTX.
Later I found a way to run a full ENB on that 1060 by optimizing textures and settings.
That took some time and effort to do though and a lot of testing.
This stayed here as a simple plug and play for better coloration with minimal frame rate drop for those that want it.
Happy to know its helping people enjoy their game.

As I stagger between different set ups - using ENB - I have been looking for a way to set my game up to have nice "living" interior lighting - homes, shops, inns, palaces etc but darker dungeons. I have tended to settle for a half way solution which makes me mildly unhappy with both - if I get the "living" areas right the dungeons are too bright.
Dynamically Darker Dungeons (DDD) will not work if the "imagespace modifier" is disabled, but when I finally found out how to do that, I found that ENB  placed a permanent greenish "fog-like" effect everywhere - which was unacceptable.
While not a potato, my PC has been suffering from fps drops in some, usually outdoor, zones. I don't really want to be in the market atm for an RTX 30XX video card.
Current Setup - Cathedral Weather + True Storms, Water for ENB, Luminosity, Relighting Skyrim, Windows Shadows, Lucid ENB, ENB Helper

"Try it and see" may be the best answer - but would anyone like to comment on using an alternate setup - swapping out the ENB for Reshader + this, perhaps adding DDD

I was interested to read Nico's comments about >2K textures - while looking for fps answers I tried different texture levels of my graphics mods, like Skyrim 2020, tree mods, grass mods - using the same mod but lower Resolution - and while there was very little fps improvement - I was NOT noticing any downgrade in visuals either.

I found that on my old system (i7 930, 1060 6GB) I was able to run a full ENB at 35+ FPS outdoors and 55+ indoors.
The bottle neck was vram with high resolution textures which caused stutter as the system tried to load more files than it had vram for.
this is where lowering the resolution to 2k textures gave the headroom on vram to run smooth.
good way to check is device manager in windows.
open it up and go to performance tab then graphics
start game and play then alt-tab to device manager and see how much vram you’re using.
adjust from there to keep vram usage below what your card has.
this won’t improve frame rate but will keep the game from stuttering.
biggest thing was not doubling up effects.
there are 3 layers to this
      driver settings
      game settings
      enb settings
basically stripped driver of AA, AF and AO and set everything for high performance
turned off everything in game settings also except TAA
then used ENB for AF and AO and reflections plus other effects like water and wet surfaces.

this reshade really only tweaks color, saturation, and sharpness

it requires far less resources (lower FPS draw) but lacks some nice features of ENB like image space lighting, particle effects, and wet surfaces etc.

i feel your pain with ENB indoor and dungeons lighting.
sadly there isn’t any way I know of to do those separately
best thing I found was relighting Skyrim and then setting ENB so skin tones looked correct indoors
still not a perfect solution but works.
if the skin tone looks good/correct the rest of the environment will too.
skyrim is kinda weird on interior dungeons also.
might be perfect in mines and then too bright in snowy caves and too dark in Falmer caves.
this comes down to whatever lighting mod you’re using and how the different dungeons are set up with light sources.
mods like Lux which only give light to light emitting sources that make sense will have super dark dungeons where no light sources are around, and appropriate lighting in places like inns that have fires and candles.

in the end there is no perfect solution and it’s comes down to what you can’t live without and how much FPS you’re willing to sacrifice to keep it.
This reshade is for people who can live without all the wet surface, sun flare, cloud shadow, etc that ENB offers but want a more vibrant game without the FPS cost of ENB.

one final thought on ENB tints:
I wasn’t happy with the blueish hue from my Rudy ENB so created a custom LUT to use that corrected this.
      pretty simple to do
take some screenshots of different locations in your game
open them in a program like photoshop or gimp and apply contrast, brightness, hue, color changes until you like it and write down the exact changes you made.
now open the LUT for your ENB and apply the same changes.
Use that LUT and the color corrections will be applied.

Sorry - but I'm totally lost with regard to which of the 30 "prod80" .fx files I am meant to activate. Started with only the default one - looked terrible, but nothing I did seemed to fix it. Tried adding and things just got worse.

    After selecting Lucid-Icrous I have three things checked - HDR , prod80_03_FilmicTonemap & LumaSharpen

ElderJames mentioned his install had SweetFx as a default - not on my list at all (Reinstalled ReShader and SweetFx was preselected - wasn't initially as I didn't deselect anything)

What should I be activating? (I tried none of the optional prod80 files - grainy and horrible, tried all - black screen, tried various combos, all looked awful, or black screen)

    Thx in advance

The ini file here is what should be selrected in the top window of Reshade.
it only uses a few shaders.
The 3 you mention are the only ones required.
I have already tweaked them and that information is contained in this ini file.

doesn’t matter how many shaders you have installed.
can have all of them downloaded from the reshade site although they will just take up space since this ini doesn’t use but a few.

bottom line is get reshade with default shaders that are pre checked (sweet.fx mostly)  and also add Prod80’s shaders to the install

      then install my ini

start game and open reshade window
select my ini in the top window.
      done
My ini will only use the ones it needs and my ini will apply the values I have set for them.
no need to add anything else.

Hi Nicoroshi, thanks for the preset. I have a relatively high end rig, but like many others I mod my game a bit on the extreme end. ENB is no problem for me, but using it does come with quite a sacrifice to FPS. This assumes I want to use some must have environmental mods. I watched the video's for your preset and said "Yes, this is something worth looking at." So thanks again for your work.

Thank you so much for this!
I always used Reshade for other games and ENB is good but it need so many patches and still unstable, bugging me a lot.
I'm using #3 (yes poor eyesight) with Wander, HLP night sky, Ethereal clouds for weather, and Luminosity, Window Shadows + Relighting for light - and few other candles and torch light plugins. I love what I see and also it's very lightweight, and no CTD for 3days so far.

      Very happy you like it.
my eyesight isn’t what it used to be either.
Comes down to play style really between the versions
Wanna NEED a torch in some situations?
      version 1
wanna get by without a torch but still have dark corners that might need one?
      version 2
I hate torches and want to see
      version 3

Yes, thank you for kindly made 3 different options to choose from, with clear explaination.
I like Reshade for various reasons but also it's super easy to tweak mid-game, without restarting, and I can change profile anytime I want (need).

The thing that really surprised me while making these and playing with sharpening shaders was how much the vanilla game was blurred.
Some blur is needed to keep textures from flickering while looking around so I understand the ‘why’ of it to smooth things out but this made me rethink any texture resolution above 2048 for my game (and my eyesight).
      Just my observations

The weather mod is Kynes perfect weather.
basically a combination of Obsidian and wander with some weathers from other weather mods added in.
Always liked Obsifian but with the added diversity it’s that much better in my opinion.
