There are plenty of smallish mods out there. Most of them can just stay small and makes no difference. This is CONAN!! and You started it right. This mod is like a tease... but alas, even as a tease, it is now so old, it could use a bit of fluffing, and why not expand it a little?
I swear, nothing makes me want to play like a Barbarian than Conan. Ultimate inspiration.
If THIS mod was just updated, with the conflicts resolved and the couple of bug fixes addressed (like the NPCs in the hut)... it would make it playable in 2025.
It is a very cool mod... IMHO... the best BARBARIAN mod on Nexus... with the armor and weapons to go with it.
Well. 2024, almost 2025 I decided to give this a try expecting failure... but alas. It still works
The cave is VERY DARK... likely the darkest cave I have explored. Companions/followers will not enter. Took me over an hour of spelunking before I got out. The dungeon is pretty packed with baddies... do not venture in if you are low level.
The rewards are actually very very cool. The weapons and armor are all unique... very unique. Cool items for sure. I was already dressed like Conan and ready to rock.
However...even though I completed the quest, I had to remove the mod... for a singular reason, and a weird one. There was a message scrolling on my screen every 0.5 secs about the war paint... it was on the upper left of the screen, in small letter, but constant. I could not find a way to disable it. A real bummer.
None the less, gotta give props to the guy. It was a cool mod for sure. Short and sweet, like a swig of honey.
I would love to see this quest revived and expanded... there is potential here for a much larger quest for sure. I mean, they made a game mod about the Shire with dumb ass rangers... making one about Conan should be WAY better.
You do realize the mod author has not touched this mod since 2016. If you want a patch you will need someone to make a patch or you can learn to patch mods which is a good idea if you are going to mod your game.
I have tried to request a patch in Reddit, but no one step forward. Perhaps if enough people like us repost my post, or make their own, someone could make that patch.

I haven't tried it on SE yet, but maybe a possible fix might be to download Saints and Seducers Extended Cut mod that completely changes the story and turned it into an actual DLC while following the concept story of stopping Thorrin from causing trouble in Skyrim and the Shivering Isles. I recommend you try it out. Unfortunately, if you started the vanilla S&S quest before downloading it, you are gonna have to start a new game and complete Sheogorath's quest. On the bright side, it removes the S&S camp and those camps are now in the Shivering Isles which you will be exploring to help the Saints and Seducers to contain the prison break and stop Thorrin from attemtping to muster an army, overthrow the Shivering Isles, and attack Tamriel. That could mean you can have both Hyborian Age and the Saints and Seducers EC so you wouldn't worry about the incompatibilities. The S&S Extended Cut makes the CC WAAAY more fleshed out and more compelling with actual voice acting and actual story telling.
If you are on the AE like I am, than I would downgrade to the 4.0 version and not the latest V5. It happens to be more stable and will not conflict with the core Saints and Seducers.

Inside the hut there were randomly assorted NPCs from various mods I've installed, they seem to enjoy themselves, but what hey supposed to do over there, is this even supposed to occur? The woman bewitched them and set them as puppets under her charming wing?!
Same here. I'm using the Jawa mod and it's surreal to walk in the witch hut after fighting the Golden Saints outside and a random Foresworn and find the Jawa, a little girl and a few odd adventurers from various mods. I've only been able to improve ONE weapon with Eorlund on one of five playthroughs and Conan only spoke on one playthrough. The witch never speaks with a voice. While I would dearly love to improve the weapons & shield, this mod is legendary and I would not want to play Skyrim without it. That mod is that good. Epic work Prometheus!
I am going to add this issue to the bug section for better tracking. I don't jnow how to use Creation Kit to change this, so I think that it would be better if someone else does fix this and updates the mod. It is a shame that this beauty of a mod spoils other parts of the game.
I never could find any of the fulgurite listed in your spoiler section....I scoured each and every location to no avail. I spawned some using the console and could not do anything with it, as far as completing the quest is concerned, so just went ahead and used the console to generate the weapon(s) that I wanted. I'm not sure what the issue is, but I do use Open Cities, so wondering if that might be the problem? Anywho, enjoyed the dungeon and the weapons, so just wanted to say thx for that.
Open cities replaces all places where fulgurite usually could be found , but there is also a secret spot on the coast with a load of it with a crashed boat , but I don't remember where.

this makes random NPCs that use this same package to go to said hut, making problems. In SSEEdit this is what it does.
