How to make a patch for any mod to work with RRSC:

    • Open xEdit. Load a mod containing NPC that needs patching along with Realistic RS Children.
    • Copy NPC record from a mod that needs to be patched to a new espfe file. This should set the mod containing that NPC as master to your esp patch.
    • Pick one of the child NPCs from RS Children that he/she is going to look like and copy over all the visual appearance values from that NPC to the new one in the patch.
    • Write down the ref ID of RS Children NPC and find the FaceGen mesh file named as that number (replace first two digits with zeros) and texture, duplicate it and rename the copies to the ref ID of the new child NPC from your patch.
    • Pack the mod and install with you mod manager, remember to keep the folder structure.

Thanks for the patch! Trying out the Windhelm Expansion for the first time and I do prefer the Realistic RS Children over the regular version. :)

Had a little bit of trouble though - I couldn't get the AI Overhaul version to work! Looking at the FaceGen files in NifSkope showed a huge red exclamation mark instead of a face and I had no idea how to fix that. Tried the NON-AI-overhaul version however and those FaceGen files worked so after a quick copy/paste all was good. Thought I'd just mention it.

That's strange. Both archives have exactly the same nif files (same file size and dates).

Maybe the file just got corrupted when you were downloading? It happens; the Nexus downloads can be a little unstable at times.

I haven't been able to find one yet but I'm still looking.  Let me know if you find one.
I was going to use Realistic RSC but another mod I have doesn't have a patch for that so I figured I"d move back to regular RSC.  Removed Realistic and MO2 shows this mod as missing a master.

What happens if you have either regular RSC or this mod and don't have a patch for Capital Windhelm Expansion?  Do the children in that mod just look vanilla or is there a bigger problem than that?

hello, is the ai packages for Briring supposed to be like this? https://imgur.com/a/DkwUanA

He is missing 2 ai packages from capital windhelm expansion. is this intentional?

What does the AIO patch do differently than the regular patch? It's not like AIO changes mod-added NPCs, so there's no conflict resolution, right?

for example, i use seedit to make a patch, and I load RS children.esp and XXX.esp. XXX is what i want to change and based on ussep.
however, after loading and find the child id, only three item can be seen: skyrim, ussep, XXX. No Rs children can be seen. and i can not copy data from RS children.

Sorry, I don't do videos. I've made the directions more clear, try again. If you still fail try watching some basic xEdit tutorials.

Anyone know why Yrsa isn't wearing an outfit with RRSC installed? Clearly she is in the screen shots, but even with that Skaal clothing mod installed the bug is present either way for me.

Try resetting NPC with us of the console. And test if it happens on a new game as well.

Happens on a new game and disable/enable doesn't fix the issue unfortunately.

I've noticed the issue a while ago and then it went away. I don't know what helped. Try checking mesh and xEdit conflicts and rebuild bashed patch.

Thanks for the patch, I'll check it out. ;)
But there is one thing... The version without AI Overhaul still use records from it so it still wants esp file.

Yrsa's body is a darker color than her face.
Briring's body matches his face. So he's fine.

I'm using the non AI overhaul version.

"I never make her undress so I can't confirm that"
You can see her neck with the clothes she comes with. I'll try the update for her if I ever install the Capital Windhelm mod again.

Thanks for the patch. Btw can you tell me how to make this kind of patch? There are some villages or settlement mods which I want to patch like Gavrostead. I would like to know how you did it.
