I don't understand...The technicolor effects just give everything a film grain/stutter effect. What am I doing wrong? Because this looks nothing like the screenshots

TURN THAT CRAP OFF in reshape menu.  I have no idea why they are ticked on. technicolor effect is on.  I do not know whats suppose to be ticked on though after turning off technicolor effects

You should run the Reshade setup exe again and choose 'uninstall'. Then run it again to install with this preset and choose only the standard effects. That should get rid of this problem.

    Really nice preset ;)

It would have been nice to credit Nolvus Reshade if you take 80% of the effects it uses with almost same settings.

      Hello vektor,
I don't remember if I copied any effects or settings from your preset, but I compared them now and there's no effect with the same settings between our presets except for Vibrance. It's been almost a year since I released this Reshade, maybe I used Nolvus as a base, I don't remember, but comparison shows evidently I'm using different settings than yours.

This is Reshade after all, these are presets, not unique creations, but if you feel credit is due, I'm happy to give it to you.

Velvet is obviously not the same as Nolvus because it's better.

In the description you say this is best with a stronger torch mod. Which ones do you recommend? The last time i used this, my interiors were incredibly dark. Everything looked great....just so long as i didn't go anywhere dark. In fact, i'm willing to listen to any lighting recommends anyone here has, when it comes to lighting mods i always try to be willing to try new things. I prefer dim to dark though, it's not like skyrim has nightvision goggles or anything.

Still my favorite Reshade preset for Skyrim and it goes so well with several ENB/weather setups.

So,I just created a detailed tutorial video on how to install a Reshade. I`ve done this, since many of my downloaders dont know how to do so.
I experienced that media is easier to consume than reading an instruction,so I thought I might share this video on different Reshades.
Maybe the Mod creator wants to pin it or add it to video section, for easier access :)
If you dont like the video, feel free to delete this post :)

Remove "Velvet ReShade.ini" from your Skyrim SE folder.

    Hey Vulture,

I love your preset. I do notice that using it in tandem with mystical Rudy ENB is basically a bomb to FPS!

I am running a beefy rig at the same time! RTX 2080 super 32GB DDR4 Ram! And after both the ENB and this reshade combine I’m getting about 20fps from 60fps… kinda sad because I absolutely love the combo!

That is very strange, because this reshade is not heavy. I've tried it with all my ENBs, it costs a couple fps and that's it. I don't know why it would be like that with Rudy.

I love it. I had been trying out all the ENBs for the past few days wanting a "fantasy cinematic" feel but couldn't find it. Now using this ReShade really adds the feel I want with whatever ENB I use. =)

Drains less fps than an ENB and looks great. What settings are used for the photos? I am using these. Not sure how many I'm suppose to enable.
