this mod somehow absolutely broke my game and now i can't even save or change locations without a crash even after uninstall lmao
edit: fixed it. had to reinstall skyrim sewers. if you want to access the area just use TCL in the console and finesse your mouse around the entrance while in the ground a bit. the right (the one for S&S) entrance should just say solitude sewers.
Shame, I'm gonna have to pull some console tomfoolery just to advance the questline in that case. Uninstalling Skyrim Sewers mid playthrough would break my save file.
It does work, and why wouldn't it? The Extended Cut doesn't change the CC Entrance itself, but adds instead a second loading door inside. So this mod still works as intended, or are there any other experiences?
Tested it myself just now and it does seem to work. We now have two seperate manhole coverings in solitude near the main gate. The original leads to the saints and seducers dlc (and thus the extended cut) and a new one right next to the execution square. So not sure why other people are having difficulty with this. Load order perhaps?
I just tested it and no, it doesnt work with extended cut. It moves the manhole from Sewers 4 yes, but the original that should be enterable after the earthquake from Extended Cut SnS, isnt enterable. Major bummer, was really hoping this patch would work for it. And yes, my load order is correct
@ShawnimusMaximus I'm assuming you're using this patch on an already existing save then? Because that's the only way I found where it indeed doesn't work
I had the same problem at first. I investigated load order, but it was correct. I am using Vortex, so in the mod listing Vortex says the patch is enabled, but when I checked the plugins section it was disabled. I enabled there and the problem was solved.
I have found over the years, especially with mod updates, that you have to disable or uninstall and then enable or reinstall plugins. Fortunately, the game is able to be modded, so the teething issues once worked out make the game better. I have not had time to learn those skills yet.
I tried this, but because there are so many other patches being used in the wabbajack preset for Sewers I'm using I couldn't get anywhere. Does anyone have the coc command to load into the first area of the CC area? I'd just use that instead.
Hi, this is for the ppl who might download this patch, go into the game and realise that they can't get into the sewers anyway, even tho they have the mod installed. [sounds familier?]
MASSIVE TL;DR: you might be unable to interact with the solitude sewers (the 'vanilla' sewer entrance) but it's not because of the patch not working it because the previous quest isn't finished and you have to find the other bandit camp's leader's journal to 'deduce the exact location of the hidden mage within solitude'
[hope this help]
anyway, i had the same issue and after downloading, patching, testing, creating new character, removing mods, being frustrated for like 3 hours i realised the probelm isn't with this patch at all... it's about the quest itself and how it's implemented you see, when the game tells you to find the mysterious mage, it's not actualy telling you to go to the sewers yet, because your character doesn't know it yet, and doesn't know where to look, so the game prevents you from interacting with the sewer entrance the only way to interact with the sewers, is to first complete the first quest (called 'balance of power') in the chain of 'saints and seducers'. incase you don't know how the quest goes (or how in my case there weren't any quest markers or anything telling you where to go) you have to do a couple of things 1. if you don't have any markers, and you can talk to ri'saad, he should be able to give you a paper, marking where the objectives are. however, not that ri'saad won't be easy to find as he does not stay in one place for more than a couple of days ingame + he won't always have to opetion to give you said paper
2. if this is the case where you don't know where to go to complete 'balance of power', you basically have to go to 4 locations
a. a small 'saint' bandit camp [far west of whiterun, between bloated man's grotto and north brittleshin pass] there you kill a bandit leader, loo him, take the journal and read it; the game will tell you to go to a bigger 'saint' bandit camp
b. the bigger 'saint' bandit camp [far northeast off markarth, between karthwasten and the reach stormcloak camp] there you do the same thing as the previous camp; however upon reading the journal of the bandit, YOU'LL BE TOLD TO GO TO SOLITUDE AND FIND THE MAGE, HOWEVER THE SEWERS AREN'T INTERACTABLE JUST YET - DON'T LET THIS MISLEAD YOU
c. a smaller 'seducer' bandit camp [west and close to windhelm, between anga's mill and yogrim's overlook] do the same thing, kill the bandit leader take his journal and read it which will lead to the next location
d. the bigger 'seducer' bandit camp [super close west of the previous location, between forsaken cave and bronze water cave] same thing, kill the bandit read his journal ONLY UPON READING THE FINAL JOURNAL CAN YOU ACTUALLY GO INTO THE SOLITUDE SEWERS
I've got (and read) all four journals, turned in the quest to ri'saad, unlocked the saint and seducer armor crafting recipes, but the sewers are still busted.
Is it safe to load Rubys_SS_SaS_Patch.esp after Lux's skyrim sewers 4 patch in mod list? Both of them edit the same cell record "SSewersSolitude01"(0x001d98). Lux - Skyrim Sewers.esp does not have a esl flag.
I wish this worked for me. Have Skyrim Sewers 4 and initially spent about an hour with no active quest marker for "Restoring Order" in the modded Skyrim sewers trying to find the "experiments". Loaded this mod, popped back up to the first manhole in Solitude, but it doesn't have an interaction button to enter it. Had to "coc" console spawn into the Root Cave.
I completed all the Saints and Seducers camp objectives and have completed the quest where you return to Risaad.

Sorry for my English

None of it provide useful information and they call it guides~
Thank you. Took me only 15 mins to complete the above and enter the sewers.
I completed all the Saints and Seducers camp objectives and have completed the quest where you return to Risaad.
