For everyone asking if there is a way to make the grass react more depending on the weather, this actually occurs... And you can test by yourself by typing the console command "fw 000C8221", causing the game Weather to change dramatically to a snow storm, this way you will be able to see by yourself how the grass is reacting to the wind concurrent to the Weather.

It is also good to take note that Weather mods change the wind effect on grass and trees, so everyone will have a different experience.

If a grass mod has it's own ini settings then simply add:
    [Display]
fWindGrassMultiplier= either 5,6,7,or 8 depending to your liking and the grass will become windy. No need for this extra esp slot.

      Thanks for the mod.
My own grass mod has a dedicated ini file, so I shall add your [Display] section to that.

After installing this mod, I must say, that standing in the middle of the tundra with the tall grass from Skoglendi blowing around my legs was kinda epic.

    Kudos

Very good mod, however there is a slightly annoying issue regarding pebbles, as they also blow in the wind as they count as grass. I'm using Folkvangr. Is there a way of fixing this at all?

It looks good, and increases the immersion, but ironically it also kills it at the same time, since it doesn't affect plants, which suddenly start to look out of place. For that reason I will not install it.

Okay so, this is great and all, but say I actually want to change my Skyrim.ini to apply wind to grass that way. How do I do that? I can't find any information online about it.

Open Skyrim.ini, under [Display] just add fWindGrassMultiplier=x

x is the value you want (something between 2 and 7 is recommended)

Hello, is this perhaps not compatible with Cathedral Landscapes? No matter which option i use the grass in that mod doesn't move at all.

Cathedral Landscapes has its own ini file. Copy the line "fWindGrassMultiplier=" from this mod under [Display] and adjust the strength accordingly  (5,6,7)

      e.g:
      [Display]
      fWindGrassMultiplier= 5

I've found that this mod is actually infinitely compatible with literally any other grass and/or flora mod you happen to have with almost zero work. Here's what you do:

Take the .ini file included in this mod.
Copy it to the mod folder of the other grass and/or flora mod in question.
Rename the .ini file to the plugin name of the grass and/or flora mod in question.

I installed this mod, loved it, but noticed that it wasn't affecting 3D Trees and Plants. Bummer. On a whim, copied the .ini file from here to the mod directory of 3D Trees and Plants, changed the .ini file's name to match the 3D mod, and there it is. The trees and plants from that mod now have some movement. And it's glorious.

Cudos to the mod author. It's a stunningly simple yet amazing mod. Much appreciated.
