What is good in the hood my dudes!  it's me again comming at you with-
Ahem.  Are you looking for a deep, intricate, high-effort and high-detail armor to add to your Skyrim experience?  If so... you'd best keep looking because this isn't it.  It took me about an hour to make this mod: quick enough that the process of uploading it to the nexus will probably take longer than it did to do the actual work of making the mod.  Honestly, it almost doesn't feel like i should be calling it "work."
Ignoring how low-effort this was... it actually turned out petty well.  So i figured why not share it?
Brief story time:  I've been working on an armor mashup (a sequel to my Yukikaze Plate Skirt collection, which by the way is a much better armor mod that you should definitely go and check out
hint hint!) based on a request i got from someone.  I sent him a WIP image with my follower wearing the outfit, but i didn't get rid of all her other gear so she was still wearing her dragonplate gauntlets.  He responded by saying things were looking good but the gauntlets would be better if they were darker.  I thought about it for a couple days and i was like "Why the heck not?"  So i took an hour and made this.  Couldn't decide which of the three shades looked best, so keeping in tune with the spirit of "Why the heck not?" I decided to upload all three options to the nexus.
Could you have made this mod yourself?  Probably.
Maybe you could even do better.  At the same time though, downloading GIMP, a .dds plugin, and learning to use the 'colorize' tool?

Ain't nobody got time for dat!
Installation and usage:
Download one of the three files, Extract it, place the "textures" folder in your "steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data" folder and there you go.  Too lazy to actually earn the armor in-game?  Here's the item ID's if you want to just add them via command console enter the following commands:
player.additem 13965 1
player.additem 13966 1
player.additem 13967 1
player.additem 13968 1
player.additem 13969 1
And There you go: a full set of the second-best armor in the vanilla game.  Careful: it's heavy.

FYI: due to user requests i eventually made versions of this for DragonScale Armor and DragonBone Weapons.  Check 'em out if you liked the look of this one.
