    I'll start this post by saying I like variation, with that said I wanted to let people know this mod will in fact work alongside hooded clavicus vile mod.

    (Maybe not right out the box as I was looking to save an esp spot but it may)
    I compacted the form IDs of this mod and turned it into an esl then downloaded the hooded clavicus vile mod (link above)

    Now depending on which race wears the mask you will get the variation. I tested this with racemenu to be sure. (Not sure if changing race while the mask is equipped is advisable, also the inventory menu of the item will most likely remain the hooded version) 

    When playing as a khajiit I was given the beast variant from this mod. (Which I have to add is awesome)
    When I took the mask off and changed my race to an imperial and equipped the masque I was then wearing the hooded version.  I hope this post helps with people that may be looking to test this mod out.

    Does anyone else have the issue with it turning characters heads invisible? Everytime Inigo equips it everything from the neck upwards dissapears completely

      It means you have a mod that modifies the same Item. Even thou it does not change the model, it changes the stats. Like for example, more armor rate, higher prize value or lighter weight. You need SSEEdit to make them compatible.

      To be honest, giving advice is all can do right now, I can't make any patches or test all your modlist because I'm always away from my computer. 😅

      I strongly advice you learn how to use SSEEDIT, because in the long run, not only can you fix this current bug in your game, but also other mods that are incompatible that you did not notice all this time.
      You can also make patches of your modlist like mine. Trust me, my game works smoothly when I learned it. 😌 👍

      Back before I learned this, my PC burned for my ignorance. Now it's still doing fine.

    does the argonian mask not work with the frankly hd patch ?

      It does not out of the box. You'll need to do some patching and maybe some texture editing for it to work.

    I couldn't get it to work with both Improved CF Helmets and Reliquary of Myth. I don't know what else could be causing this conflict but the masque makes the head of my character disappear. Any idea what could be causing this?

      Improved CF Helmets does not modify the Masque of Clavicus Vile.
      it's most likely "Reliquary of Myth". Go download our Patch for Reliquary of Myth from the Optional Files
      If it still persist. i could be any mod that modifies Armor stats or abilities

      It works perfectly fine on khajiiti but not on my argonian character... This is peculiar. I don't know what mod I have that could be causing this.

      at this rate you need to learn how to use SSEEdit to find the conflict to solve this out. It's my recommend to create patches

      I have figured it out, as it turns out the model in the Reliquary of Myth patch for the Argonian is broken, in SSEEdit it spits out an error, so I fixed it there.

      So you're telling that the patch doesn't actually work? Bummer.

      Edit: seems that the mod works just fine without the RoM patch so I don't know if it's really needed.

      Just to be clear, it's supposed to work if the item is only modified with the 2 mods I listed in the patch.
      Adding another mod that also modifies that same item is a new Conflict that causes bugs.
      Some mods does not claim to modify the item but sneakily do so. And can be only confirmed when checked on SSEEdit.

    Hej, could I make a patch for Frankly HD Masque of Clavicus Vile ? It has some custom environment maps that require edits to the mesh.

    How can we add a race to the mesh exception list? So that a custom race with a similar headshape could be accomodated for.

      That's gonna require you some knowledge on how to use "SSEEdit" its better that you download and learn to use it with the added benefits for fixing incompatible mods you had. I'm not a good teacher and its gonna have a long boring step by step list if you ask on me to teach you. I suggest you try Youtube or Google after you download SSEEdit for your game.

    This isn't lore-friendly, because the Masque of Clavicus Vile works in the same way than commander Anubis Cruger's helmet in Power Rangers S.P.D.

      Just tried with SSEEdit and it seams to be impossible to conver it to ESL.

      You need to compact the file form IDs first. Open it in the CK, compact it, and then you can flag it esl no problem.
