    Sticky
Added 3 brightness variants; light, dark and very dark.
Thanks to juzu1234 for suggesting it.

    Hi Herkon ,
Would you be willing to allow me to port this mod to Xbox? All credit would be given to you.
    Thanks!

This is great, thanks for adding the different shades. The dark version matches Markarth stony af well.

Great idea! So many overhauls for Markarth textures, but I don't particularly like any of them and haven't been able to put my finger on why. As soon as I saw the title of this mod I realised the floor had been the flaw all along! I'll be trying this out in-game. Thanks!

Indeed. I guess it's a matter of taste but we agree on that the floor was the flaw. I hope you'll find this useful. You're welcome and thanks.

I agree with what the others have said, this is actually not bad at all. If I could give one constructive criticism it would be this. There are a lot of overhaul mods out there for this area and this mod as it is does not go with the current overhaul I have as the ground looks too bright. This sounds stupid however I would be giving you a disservice if I did not tell you this. The mod is damn good. What would be really good if I saw maybe an update in a week or so stating that there is say three other files as optionals like color differential eg; - Really light, light, darker, really dark. This would allow maximum compatibility. Load textures in 3rd party software application and tweak shader from light to darker etc. Job done then you cater for everyone. I am still endorsing however I am currently uninstalling this mod. You are a good modder for releasing something so individualistic and thanks.

Thanks and, you're welcome. I just had myself and my own needs in mind when I made that texture. It turned out I liked the results, so I said to myself; "You should make a little mod out of this and see if others like it also.". But you are right; of course there should be more variants of it since there are so many Markarth overhauls out there. I don't know why I didn't think of that myself.
Thanks alot for the feedback and constructive criticism. Really appreciated.

Hey nice one for the variants and you are welcome mate. I will download these and test them all. Brilliant to see progression with a good mod. I cannot wait to see what else you come up with. Talented mate talented.

You could do a fmomd next but that is just a nicety. Try maybe a texture overhaul for the double doors in markarth and not the large dwemer doors as they have been done as well as the single doors but no one to my knowledge has done the small double doors. Also some end users have very strong PC's. It would be class if there was a 4K version or even the hell with it an 8K. One final thing even have a parallax enabled mesh for the texture also. Go nuts.

This is actually pretty cool. There are a few Markarth mods that make the ground very difficult to look at because of small stones and repeating patterns, and this is actually very soothing in comparison :)

Exactly my thoughts as well. I was trying out Markarth graphical overhauls and didn't quite like how the walkways turned out, especially where the steep slopes occur. Then I said to myself; "Why not make a concrete texture for the walkways?". And here we are.
      Thanks for your comment.
