    Sorry, dumb question, does this fix the frozen 'Started: Unbound' text that pops up when creating a new character?

    Author of Realm of Lorkhan here. Looks great! I haven't tested this myself but TheRetroCarrot and I have discussed this patch. If all goes well I'll see what I can merge into the main mod around Spring 2021. For now, please enjoy the work they've done.

      Is there any particular reason this was never merged into ROL?

      I'm using the newest version of Realm of Lorkhan and Unbound did not complete for me when I left the realm, which led me to here.

      I had to use console to complete it since this mod doesn't work on existing saves

      I'm also curious! I didn't see it reflected in the original mod's change log, and the author hasn't responded to my post yet.  It's only been a couple days though.

      I just tested, and it doesn't seem that this fix have been merged in the original mod, so it's still needed.

    the mod is not working as it should, it completes the Unbound quest but does not start the next one in the sequence, not even when it reaches whiterun

      Did you talk to Jarl Balgruuf? Starting the Bleak Falls Barrow quest after telling him news on Helgen got Unbound to complete.

    does not seem to work for me on an existing save. might work on a new one. using non vr se.

      This won't have any effect on existing saves. The scripts that handle all these events only play at the start of a new game. Sorry!

      I made the same mistake but I found that you don't need this mod.

      Use Console Commands and type in:
      completequest MQ101

    Thanks for the fix!

    If I wanted to save the .esp slot (VR) - it looks like I could just use TES5Edit to copy your change to MQ101 into the main Realm of Lorkhan .esp? In addition to packaging the script files into my Realm folder (MO2)?

      Correct, this is what I've done for my own version of Realm of Lorkhan I'm using as well. I forget but I believe the ESP really only has one change, which is the one that fixes completion being marked. The scripts fix Alduin and the objective being checked off. Also fixes the incorrect music playing occasionally in Realm of Lorkhan when making a new character.

      Thanks for the confirmation. 

      I went ahead and did this - I found two changes:

      For anyone looking there was one change not too far down (MQ101 scrolls down for a loooong time in Edit):

      propertyName: Alias_HelgenEndMarker
      Alias: 184 HelgenEndMarker

      And other, as Retro said fixes completion. I think this was much further down.

      this patch also comes up as 'Mergeable' in Wrye Bash (if you use Bashed Patches); this also saves an ESP spot.
