Whoa, long time no see, Nexus... 😁

I just wanted to notice you guys that I'm currently inactive from the modding scene (I think all of you noticed that I did not post any update for two years now 😅).
I have been really busy dealing with some IRL stuff for the past year and a half. Nothing really special, but my schedule is far from empty, and I do not have much time to spend on my computer, doing mods or any other kinf of 'fun' stuff like I used to do three or four years earlier. I have grown up, slowly becoming a responsible adult 🥳

I might come back one day here, on Nexus, to update all the things I created for myself first, but also for the community too, because you guys are awesome ❤️ You guys really were my source of motivation when I was creating stuff. I was happy that people liked my stuff, as simple as it could be.

Nevertheless, it is time for me to say goodbye once and for all, and thank you for this instense but fun journey.
If you guys want to send me messages, I will always be answering to private messages on Nexus, and I might answer from time to time under the 'posts' section of this mod 😊

    Mitsuriou~

I'm looking for people that would be able to translate MFBOPC in other languages than English, French and Chinese (Taiwan).
Feel free to add me on Discord: Mitsu-Dylan#1150

I'll credit everyone that takes part in the development process.

PS: Even if you are not a developer, translating the software is quite easy. It only requires time and language knowledge

Quick update: I'm currently preparing to move to South Korea for 3 months, so I do not have much time to work on the software ^^

Still, I'm preparing the version 4.0.0. The main thing of this version (that will mostly be the last major one) is the possibility of injecting any body reference of any version, and being able to use these file to generate BodySlide files.
Another cool (but maybe useless) feature is the "Nexusmods file fetching" when using the "Assisted Conversion" and "Textures Assistant" tools: you are able to directly input a Nexusmods URL or a mod ID to generate files for a follower.

Hello everyone, it has been a long time since the last update of MFBOPC already ^^

I found some free time and I worked on a version "3.8.1.0" today, that will update "CBBE 3BA (3BBB)" and "BHUNP" to their latest versions.
Nothing else new, but I will restart working on version 4.0.0.0 soon ! I just need a few more weeks to finish the version 4.0.0.0 and to test it a little bit.

I will take my time tomorrow to compile and publish this brand-new version
    Thanks for your patience !

EDIT : VERSION 3.8.1.0 IS NOW AVAILABLE ! SINCE I DO NOT WORK WITH MY EVERYDAY SETUP (old laptop, because I am in South Korea at the moment), NOTIFY ME IF ANYTHING IS BROKEN

Ah I'm so confused, I followed the google doc instructions to convert the followers skeleton to 3BA but nothing worked. The body physics are still broken.
Anyone have an idea how to convert Deadric Bitchs by SexyBono to 3BA?

Hi, I want to make sure I understand what this mod does exactly. If I use this, would it be able to assist me in converting the nevernude UNP body of a standalone NPC replacer mod to CBBE Amazing?

Swap body nifs and textures to go from unpb to cbbe I did that to the DJQuattro Anna and Elsa followers just to name 2. If I remember correctly, this makes body slide files for npcs followers so you can make them have outfits conform to thier shapes . Doesn't convert body type.

Hello, you can watch the tutorials (Google Docs), and check point 5.10, page 141. There is an example with ESP file editing process for followers using player character's meshes bu default.

I was hoping to use this to finally convert Clara Goldspirit to my BHUNP body but unfortunately, I have BHUNP 3.14 installed and the last supported version here is 3.13 which is no longer available.  Is there any way for me to manually update?

edit: I went ahead and it seemed to work (everything green) but I'm getting an error message when trying to output the files.  I saw that someone else had the same problem further down in the comments but couldn't find the solution...

(I can't get the link from Imgur to work despite adding the .png... having a bad day here but the link is at https://imgur.com/a/g1ibiZd)

re-edit: using the subdirectory path seems to have worked.  Thank you so much for this!  Not just the app... but the in depth, easy to follow instructions as well!  Huge endorsement!

Hello, I'm glad you got it to convert in the end
Thank you for the kind message <3

The software is a bit outdated now, I know. I haven't found a lot of time to work on it. But an update will 100% come someday soon
As for manually adding body mods versions in the app, it's a feature that I have coded at roughly 75% in version 4.0 of MFBOPC (unreleased yet). I only need to change the way the presets are generated and to change a bit the user interface to finish this update and publish it here on NexusMods ^^

Looking forward to it!  For now though, I'm really glad this exists... relatively slim pickings out there for BHUNP users.  This opens up a whole new avenue of replacers.

So I am running into an issue on where to find the NIF files. I have done this before and never had issues that I could remember. Mind you that was in Skyrim SE and I am having this problem with Skyrim VR. Since from what I can tell it savers into Skyrim Special Edition/meshes or whatever the full path is. So am I out of luck on this? Is it even possible with Skyrim VR? Or am I messing something up possibly? I did try installing Skyrin SE to see if it would save but notice all the meshes are in a BSA file and I don't want to mess with that right now unless I really half to if it is the solution, but suffice to say no luck even when I installed Skyrim SE. Is there a way to change the save location of the NIF? or Would I need to unpack the BSA, or IDK i'm dumb struck on what to do to get this to work for me.

Hello, it should fine in both Skyrim SE and Skyrim VR, since they use the same mods base.
Moreover, I wrote a few examples on how to deal with BSA files when converting some followers. You should check the Guide, that is available from the "DESCRIPTION" and "FILES" sections, or from the software itself, under "Help" > "Useful links" ^^

If you still has trouble then, feel free to answer back here so I can help you

    Thanks for your work,
After reading whole tutorial, if I make batch conversion of harem followers for example, which skeleton should I use :
Vera's skeleton or xpmsse ? I suppose vera's skeleton was installed by a mod because I didn't download this on nexus.
On most followers packs they say : compatible skeleton required. Does this refer to xpmsse ?

Another question is where do I output when I'm done ?
For bodyside sliders it seem obvious to output to steamapps/skyrimse/data/caliente/bodyslide...
Should I output textures directly in their original directory (for me it's vortex/mods/...) ?

Or I suppose I rather drag/drop on vortex a .rar or .7z I created ? But then this will have 2 textures pack, can't I just override in the folder mod all files directly ? This way I keep 1 texture pack rather than 2.  By doing so I saw that many textures of the UUNP followers are not the same : brows, clothes, eyes, hair, mouth... What will happen to them ? Are they used by either CBBE or lost ? Should I keep them ?

Final questions : why do you create files in Slidergroups which should be groups in bodyslide, why don't they appear in groups ?
Can I get the sliderpresets of the bodies I just create ?  I downloaded UUNP followers to see what would happen on purpose, but It doesn't work to build the bodyslide body on the UUNP textures. Funilly, I could use UUNP files without bugs, even if I don't have UUNP...

My real point of this is : I need sliderpresets and custom bodies. I don't want all my followers to look the same. on harem I don't like bodies, but on another follower mod using UUNP with custom bodies, will I be able to retrieve this body fully converted for CBBE ? Because if I build without the right slider I will get a body I already have...

Thats all I have more questions but then I won't keep all of your time.

    Thank you !!!

P.S : would be great to add an auto scan of files to prefill Bodyside file name and presets name.
For example, here the path is meshes/../Florence/femalebody, and is all the same for each follower, it could pick Florence and auto fill it ;)

P.P.S : I tried to update your MFBO mod manually so I kept all the same names you put and so on, I have no idea if it will work I will wait for your answers :)

After reading whole tutorial, if I make batch conversion of harem followers for example, which skeleton should I use :

Any skeleton you use in-game. Most people would use XPMSSE, as I do. But there are alternatives skeletons like Vera's Female Skeleton or Better Female wrists hands ankles and leg ratio twists for XPMSSE.

I suppose vera's skeleton was installed by a mod because I didn't download this on nexus.
I embedded in the application the most recent versions of those two skeletons as they might be the most used. But you can add any custom NIF file, to make the presets you generate perfectly compatible with your exact game setup ^^

On most followers packs they say : compatible skeleton required. Does this refer to xpmsse ?
Most of the time, yes, as it is the skeleton mod the most widely used.

Another question is where do I output when I'm done ?
For bodyside sliders it seem obvious to output to steamapps/skyrimse/data/caliente/bodyslide...
Anywhere you like, in my examples, I think I used my "Desktop" folder, before copying the content I wanted into my game folder. But you can also generate them directly in your game's files (just be careful to not override some previous files when regenerating a preset).

Should I output textures directly in their original directory (for me it's vortex/mods/...) ?
Or I suppose I rather drag/drop on vortex a .rar or .7z I created ? But then this will have 2 textures pack, can't I just override in the folder mod all files directly ? I detailed everything about using your custom textures set for the Textures Assistant HERE.
You can use the textures you have in-game (from MO2 or Vortex). For example, if I have installed Fair Complexion, I would search for the files directly in this folder and copy them where MFBOPC reads textures sets.
You can use CBBE and UNP textures on every single NPC or follower. But indeed, textures are not really compatible with each other. So you really need to stick with UNP-based textures and UNP-based body mods, and same for CBBE ^^

Final questions : why do you create files in Slidergroups which should be groups in bodyslide, why don't they appear in groups ?
They should be appearing, with the default filters I ship with the base install of the software, you have some groups already defined and working in BodySlide software.

Can I get the sliderpresets of the bodies I just create ?  I downloaded UUNP followers to see what would happen on purpose, but It doesn't work to build the bodyslide body on the UUNP textures. Funilly, I could use UUNP files without bugs, even if I don't have UUNP...

I'm not sure I understood correctly this part. I will let you clarify this so I can help you more ^^

P.S : would be great to add an auto scan of files to prefill Bodyside file name and presets name.
You have the Assisted Conversion tool for that ^^ And for the most recent versions of MFBOPC, you also have an equivalent for mass/batch conversion tool named Batch Conversion.

Thanks for answering, I know time is precious so i'll try to be more specific in my questions.

I detailed everything about using your custom textures set for the Textures Assistant HERE.
You can use the textures you have in-game (from MO2 or Vortex). For example, if I have installed Fair Complexion, I would search for the files directly in this folder and copy them where MFBOPC reads textures sets.

Not sure I understood this well. I also have fair complexion, and I am using vortex. I'm not really using custom textures, just CBBE and UUNP when I don't have a choice, but I understand I won't be able to put armors on UUNP bodies.
To reformulate : in harem v3, the followers have mouth, eyes.. folders to be used with UUNP. Should I convert these textures in CBBE with your mod, replace everything, these folders are unchanged. Will CBBE look for these or is it unrelated (used by fair complexion for eg). Should I do something of these folders, put them in some other directory, or leave them be and CBBE will use them after conversion? Not sure that's clear.

They should be appearing, with the default filters I ship with the base install of the software, you have some groups already defined and working in BodySlide software.
Ok again I'm perplexed here. Your mod MFBO creates groups for every single follower. I used this mod to get bodyslides and got individual files for each follower, exactly like you. However for BJIN wives or NPCS it only created 1 file. But in either case, these files exist within Bodyslide group folder, but I don't see them in the software, which is better, otherwise I would have 50+ groups. In my case, the files are all in MFBO, CBBE, 3BA groups for examples. I think I am confused about which folder in BodySlide matches the right thing in the software.
I'll join 2 screenshots to be more explicit :

As you can see I have MFBO group, but no harem v1 cassia for eg, even though both files exist in the bodyslide folder group.

I'm not sure I understood correctly this part. I will let you clarify this so I can help you more ^^
Ok, I'll join a screenshot to make it clear :

As you can see I have sliders, but how can I get sliders from the bodyslide files I just created with your mod ?
Highlighted on the screen is cassia slider, matching her body, from the MFBO mod you created, with harem V1. I don't know how I got this one, I would like the sliders of the bodies, so that I get more custom sliders to re-use on other followers, or swap between them. Thats why I loved MFBO, you created custom bodies for followers, all different ! If I'm not able to do this I guess I'll just wait for MFBO's update ;)

      ?
P.S : would be great to add an auto scan of files to prefill Bodyside file name and presets name.
You have the Assisted Conversion tool for that ^^ And for the most recent versions of MFBOPC, you also have an equivalent for mass/batch conversion tool named Batch Conversion.
I tried assisted conversion, but it created only 1 bodyslide file for all 20 followers, not sure what I did wrong, I followed the tutorial.

      Thanks again for your time.
I might be able to translate a few pages from the tutorial in french (I'm french) if you need to thank you, although this is kinda technical.

EDIT : ok last thing : When trying to convert harem v3 & v4 (again!), I realized if I use their file with default body CBBE I can't generate bodyslide files with your mod. I suppose this is because they don't include .nif body files, and it is generated by the game. So I installed the custom UUNP bodies file, got the bodyslide files, converted textures to CBBE, overrode textures in vortex, built bodyslide and it worked.

Then I was thinking ok this is stupid, I'm using x2 amount of textures, and more vortex work and rules, so I reinstalled CBBE default body files, built with bodyslides, and it didn't work. I looke in the meshes and even after building with bodyslides, no female body.nif was there.
Is there no other solution but to use only custom body UUNP textures and replace them ? This mod doesn't include custom CBBE bodies afaik.
