With this mod, you don't need original USSEP/CRF/USSEP+CRF patch! The same thing applies to any other patch for these mods from different sources (there are "updated" patches for RDO hosted by some people). If you're using old patches/"updated" patches - just remove them. They may cause issues (like CTDs) if you're using them with my Updated version of RDO.
USSEP changes (that were needed) are included in this mod. If I missed something important, just let me know. CRF, according to Arthmoor (and my own tests), doesn't require any patches for RDO. Just make sure to load RDO before CRF.
RDO includes 10 audio lines/files which have lower quality and different volume than those in UHDAP. The patch is needed when RDO loads after UHDAP and replaces the files with low quality ones.
Lost of T'Skyrim is a collection of patches for quite a few mods including UHDAP
Any chance you could add a patch for RDO Lite? I know you don't agree with the reasons it was made, but it's the only one still being maintained. The other RDO hasn't been updated in 7 years.
This mod has 5998 records and it's flagged as esl. The limit for esl is 2048 for pre AE games and 4095 for AE games with 1.71 header. I think this is why some records are in italic, which means they aren't recognized.
I don't like that this requires USSEP as a master, mods I've installed conflict with it and can't utilize the MCM of RDO due to the conflicts. The original mod did not have it as a dependency, why add it?
little late here, but you could make a USSEP dummy plugin using WryeBash so that this mod thinks USSEP is there but it's really just an empty mod. Or you could try reporting the masters/cleaning unused masters in xEdit. I'd look up a vid for this on youtube rather than fitfoing it.
Might not work, depends on how needed USSEP truly is for the mod. But there's some options
Funny story: I was in Solitude, messing around with iEquip's edit mode (which occurs in game space but can freeze time). I inadvertently mapped iEquip's element-rotation key and RDO's force-calm hotkey to the same button. So while I was rotating elements in iEquip, RDO's force-calm repeatedly fired off in frozen time.
When I exited iEquip's edit mode and returned time to normal, all those force-calms fired off simultaneously, something that had been harmless in the past. I thought it would be harmless now.
I was wrong.
The entirety of Solitude was suddenly littered with hawk corpses. Apparently a side-effect of RDO's forced calm is that it knocks birds out of the sky, which causes them to die from the fall damage. There were SO many dead hawks, an order of magnitude more than the number you normally see coasting by. Every part of Solitude had piles of birb corpses.
The best part is that they persisted after normal corpse clean-up cycles, so I had to go into the console and manually delete them, one-by-one, like a penance for the chaos I wrought. It was HILARIOUS.
The dead bodies are cleaned up by Papyrus scripts attached to their NPC records. The hawks didn't despawn because they aren't actually NPCs, but animated activator objects. None of the hawks you kill in the game despawn until the cell buffer is purged.
This mod seems to change the NPC's face, causing face conflicts and eventually CTD. [ 21] BSDynamicTriShape(Name: `FemaleHeadKhajiit`) [ 59] NiCamera(Name: `WorldRoot Camera`) [ 133] NiCamera(Name: null) [ 145] ShadowSceneNode(Name: `shadow scene node`) [ 146] NiNode(Name: null) [ 150] BSMultiBoundNode(Name: null)This is my crash log. I always CTD near Whiterun. After canceling this mod, everything is normal.
This mod doesn't change any NPC's faces. Something else causes your CTD (that may or may not be related to RDO). Post full crash report. Writing "I have CTD with this mod" is literally useless.
I have this exact issue rn. and I'm on the same game version. I use Easy NPC and don't have any missing faces. but I do have a missing horse outside whiterun lol. it seemingly randomly disappeared out of the blue and it was working fine earlier. I can only see the hair on its neck. very weird. but it sounds weird that it would be this mod considering it only adds voice lines as far as I know. gonna check rn what happens to the horse if I disable RDO.
So if in the MCM of this mod I select for a follower that does not use the RDO dialog, is that already compatible with Amazing Follower Tweaks (SE AE)? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80675
In that AFT it says to use RDO SE LITE and here it says Lite sucks. Can someone clarify this?

That acronym is used in "Files", but seemingly nowhere else...
edit:
Seems it is connected to
Lost of T'Skyrim

Just thought you might want to know.
Man, I wish I took screenshots before cleaning up. You can't BELIEVE how many I had to manually delete.
