I'm confused. how do I exactly use this? the image provided is not enough for me to understand.
Edit: figured out I was wrong for linking skse64 instead of the actual SkyrimSE.exe. just gonna leave it here in case someone is as confused as me. And by God, I thank you for this.
This is excellent. But I wonder if there is something to just bypass any form of launcher and just launch SKSE (that doesn't involve changing the SKSE file name). Currently this is the best solution for me, specially thanks to that countdown option.
When using MO2 to load all my mods, every time the launcher is loaded the game updates from the downgraded version I am using to the new anniversary update. Anyway to use this without it forcing the game to update?
Hey psst psst, you should do a version for Starfield ;) I tried using this launcher for Starfield, but for some reason every time the game tries to launch through the shortcut, Steam can't verify the exe version!
I've thought of doing that but starfield has no launcher and there is a workaround for steam to launch a different file. Also BethINI has a complex editor for ini tweaks, so i don't know if it is needed anymore. Check this one
Absolutely love this launcher! I've been using copies of this to launch other games as well. Any chance sometime for a version for Fallout 4 VR version? Or maybe an option to add a custom image?
Custom image is doable, but image size might not always fit. Also I don't know if FO4 VR has a launcher. If it has, i might do it sometime.
Edit: Well, i have started a new fo4 playthrough because of you :D Thought it would be the best time to make it. Fallout 4 version I still don't know how VR version works tho, i don't have vr :( This works with the base game.
Love this launcher, but I have a question/request. Is it possible to change the background image and title to another one? I'm using it even with my Oblivion installation, and it works amazing with .lnk shortcuts from MO2. I'd love the Oblivion version, or the ability to change the background and title in the launcher itself.
Hi. Everything works perfectly except I don't see how I can make steam launch your app instead of the default one except by replacing the original one with yours. But If we do so then how will we be able to change the game settings through the original launcher since it has been overwritten? Am I missing something?
*Edit: By moving the original launcher into a folder inside Skyrim's directory (I named it Launcher) everything works perfectly.
this is EXACTLY what i was looking for, thank you so much!! renaming the skse exe broke some mods and this was the perfect solution!! for anyone who needs longer instructions: replace the skyrim launcher in your skyrim game folder (where all the exes are) with this launcher, then link the play button to the skse.exe

I click yes but nothing happens.
I did install manually, and still get the same notification...
Edit: .NET 5.0 is the one needed in case someone runs into the same issue (I actually installed 8,7,6 and 5 xD)
Download .NET 5 Here!

Try these:
Be sure you did everything correctly in Readme
Set Steam to only update when launched
Restart your PC using restart option (yes, windows fast boot sometimes messes things up)
Instead of opening MO2, it starts updating Skyrim...
