Lycanthrops have given me his permission to port this mod as is with Skyrim SE necessary updates of course.
================
Apologies for uploading two versions in less than 24 hours but some of my users had an issue that singled out that there was something wrong with my meshes and they had to be redone & re-optimized.
Also, mod menu bug was annoying me so I fixed that too, all hairstyles should now display correctly.
As always if you have a problem, report it and I will investigate and update accordingly.
For anyone having the issue where the color of the wig doesn't match the description (it only matches the NPC's original hair color), I have found a simple solution. As was stated before, the issue is a newer version of RaceMenu, but there's no need to disable it to resolve the problem :)
1. Navigate into where your RaceMenu is installed into the folder SKSE -> Plugins and locate the file skee64.ini 2. Open the ini file and find the line bEnableTintHairSlot 3. Change the value to 0, so that it looks like this: bEnableTintHairSlot=0 ; Default[1] 4. Profit
There you go :) It works fine for me, the colors now match those in the wig descriptions.
Also, for anyone who would like a KS hair version, you can use this mod KS Wigs (non-HDT version works on SSE) along with this mod NPC Clothes Changer SSE (only necessary for any non-follower NPCs since it lets you change anyone's outfit regardless of their follower status). It all works like a charm :)
The styles don't stick though. As soon as I disarm the spell, the hairstyle returns to what it was before. If I rearm the spell, the style I chose returns, but it doesn't stay.
Does anyone have issues selecting a hair color, but the one applied is generally only black? Meaning, I choose Blonde from the list, but the used hair is only black.
This is the stupidest post I've ever seen on nexus. No wonder so many mod authors quit because of users. I wish nexus would ban idiots like you. Seven years on this site and your only contribution is 1 endorsement and asking someone to make a diarrhea mod, GG.

i installed the apache hair requirements
i did all this stuff in the exact order
Give an NPC a new hairstyle
- Choose the Change Hairstyle spell from the Alteration section in the magicka menu (key P)
- Prepare the spell, aim and cast the Change Hairstyle Spell at the target you want to change the hairstyle.
- The hairstyle menu will open. Click on your desired hairstyle. (It will then vanish from the list)
- Press the TAB key to exit the menu and your target will equip the chosen hairstyle
My target, NPC dead thrall follower, did not equip..
I would like to use this mod to give my wench a better hairstyle.
Also, keeping with SMP theme:
Great Moders' HDT-SMP Physics Hair and Xing
Valkyr HDT-SMP Hairstyles
KS Hairdos with physics for Men
Vanilla hair remake SMP
