So I was running into the crash issue when trying to use Azura's Star. - followed the instructions to prevent CTD - works fine the first time, second time I try to use the star I get a CTD - reloaded, tried again, but this time left the enchanting table and came back : same CTD - The only thing I have that modifies the Stars is Zim's Artifacts (forwarded his price change as that's all that is affected) and YASTM (made sure this mod is loaded after YASTM)
Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't help. I've made this mod for myself, because I couldn't find it anywhere, and I'm not exactly an expert. I suggest you first try to turn off all other mods and use a clean save to see if it works without any issues in those perfect conditions. Then turn them back on, one by one, until you figure out which one causes the issue.
when i disinstall this mod to fix the ctd problem, when i launch the game to fill my star the normal way, the game tell me the mod is missing and i dont event have the time to click yes to launch the game, the game instantly ctd, it is fixed when i reinstall the mod but i cant use the star,

I've never had the game ctd prior to game fully loading, back when I tested. But I've also never tried to load a save with this mod missing, so... Obviously that's a bad thing to do, as it can cause issues, that's why the game warns you in the first place.
You need to disable the mod, load a save that was made before you enabled the mod. Then fill the star. Then enable the mod.
Ah yes, finally. This is what I thought it was gonna be from the start when I first played skyrim lol, a gem that had an endless number of souls in it since its been used and experimented on for so long instead of just another soul gem.
I think even lore-wise, the star still can hold only a single soul, but unlike normal soul gems, it just never breaks when extracting a soul. Infinite Souls are convinient, but I'd even go with 8, 1 for each ending.
The main problem with Azura's star is, that it will trap the first soul, even if it's tiny.
Do the following steps: 1) Turn off the mod. 2) Load the game, make sure that you have azura/black star in your inventory and that it's empty. 3) Fill it with any soul. Save the game. 4) Turn on the mod. Load the save.
This only needs to be done once. (unless I dunno you throw away the star and add another one via console, but that doesn't make sense...)
Note: infiniteAzuraStar.esp needs to be below any mods that edit those two items, like sorting mods for example.
The files tab says "Skyrim is required." Don't you mean "Skyrim Special Edition" is required? After all, this is on the Skyrim Special Editions part of Nexus.
I actually intended it as a joke, it's kinda obvious you need the game to mod the game. Files just look ugly when there's nothing written to them, cause it leaves empty space, so I had to write something.
But u're right, I should probably change it so that people don't get confused. Thanks.
Thanks. I took the extra step before starting a new game to make sure it was an SE mod and not an LE mod. I also opened it up in CK and didn't see anything in Spanish, which confused me even more. Or did you mean the source mod in LE was in Spanish?
