    Desertic Dark Brotherhood is now voiced by Tyler Scales and Meowzi! Thanks a lot to them for giving their voices to the characters!

    The quests' scripts were also modified again to make sure all the quests work, but as a consequence, it is not recommended to update the mod if you haven't already finished the quests. Do the quests, and then update or it could break them (and make some characters not appear).

    The patch for Cyrodilic Collections was also taken down. To avoid having navmesh issues, load Cyrodilic Collections in Hammerfell before Desertic Dark Brotherhood. A new patch will be made if it is deemed still necessary to make a patch.

    Hi,

    Looks like a great mod but I noticed a few things with a quick test when making my modlist.

    Semi-incompatibilities with Seasons of Skyrim SKSE and the mods dependant of it : Outside the winter season, there won't be an iceberg, making the tent float and the NPC stand still in the water.

    Due to another mod, I was able to speak with the NPC, nothing wrong with that but closing the dialogue she said something like "Farewell Listener" - I didn't even start the DB questline.

    It's a bit unimmersive to see the static NPC, quite visible, in her combat attire.
    Maybe she could disguise as a fisher ? And on the coastline to avoid problem with the missing icerberg ?

      Seems like it's mostly just incompatibilities within your modlist. I understand your problem with Seasons of Skyrim, but I had decided to put her there to avoid incompatibilities around the Dawnstar Sanctuary which could be a heavily modded area. I could do a fast patch for that.

      You were able to speak with the NPC "due to another mod", except you shouldn't be able to do that before you finish the vanilla DB questline. The reputation your character has as a listener at the end of the quests is what has brought the Hammerfell characters to come to you. I won't do anything about that.

      The attire was also chosen as a way for people to understand super quickly that she is from the DB and will start the quest, although sure, it might not be very smart to go around dressed like that. She does not stay in Skyrim once you actually start the quest though.

      I understand, and thanks for the fast response.

      I don't remember which mod exactly, but the kind of mod that give additional dialogues, even to random non-unique NPCs.

      I can deal with those slights issues, except for the floating furniture, so yes, if you could make a patch, I would be very grateful.

    I got a load order question Does this count as a new land mod like the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal Mod of Manny's where i should put it higher in my loas order? Or is it a quest mod where it should go lower in my load order?

      It counts as a quest mod, as it does not "add new lands" but just "uses new lands". I'd suggest putting it with the other quest mods you have.

    Is there supposed to be a random dark brotherhood initiate on an iceberg near dawnstar?

      Yes, that's who starts the quest, once you've finished the vanilla questline. They disappear when the quest has started.

      Considering I went out of my way to gather some voice actors to voice this mod, this is a bit sad... But sure.

    Hi Betalille, 

    You stated that you do not recommend updating the mod if the quests have not been completed. Does that extend to a playthrough where I haven't touched any aspect of your mod or the Gray Cowl worldspace yet? Since I haven't started the mod, would the previous version's scripts already be running and break upon update?

      Yes, there is a probability that it could break even though you never went to the desert in the first place.

    I have completed the Nocturnal Gray Cowl mod as well as the Dark Brotherhood quests. I installed this mod version 1.2.2 but when I talk to Tenerio nothing happens. What should be done ? sorry for my English

      Bonjour bonjour.

      Près de la guilde à Aubétoile, tu trouveras une petite tente sur un iceberg dans la mer avec une initiée de la Confrérie dessus. Parle avec elle et tu pourras commencer la quête.

      Merci pour l'info, la quête a bien commencé, j'ai fait les cinq contrat ainsi que disparue dans les ténèbres. Je suis retourné voir Tenerio et là plus de quête. J'ai lu le dernier compte rendu et ça parle du cairn de l'âme, je me suis donc rendu au Cairn de l'âme mais il n'y a pas de marqueur mais j'ai trouvé une tour du Cairn de l'âme que je n'avais pas avant, donc je me suis dit que c'est le bon endroit. Je suis rentrer dedans mes pas de Lucya. J'ai bien sur moi la Gemme de Lucya mais je ne peu pas l'utiliser. Merci pour un indice. Comme je n'ai pas de quête, je pensais trouver Lucya et poursuivre l'aventure par une autre quête. Pour info le Cairn de l'âme je l'avais fini. Normalement Tenerio aurait du m'envoyer par une quête au Cairn de l'âme ! ou bien je me trompe.

      Alors, est-ce que tu avais la version la plus récente du mod ou pas ? C'est un problème de la version 1.2.2 que j'ai corrigé dans la 1.2.3. Malheureusement, mettre le mod à jour ne changera pas le problème, il faut lancer la quête automatiquement avec la console (la touche "²" sur le clavier français) et taper
      setstage DDBQuest07 10
      pour pouvoir lancer la quête allant vers le Cairn de l'âme.

      Bonjour Betalille,
      Je me suis aperçu que j'avais la version 1.2.2 et non la 1.2.3. J'ai donc installé cette dernière et je l'ai recommencé depuis le début et là aucun CDT et l'avant dernière quête à pu se lancer sans problème. Merci quand même pour l'info.
      Y auras t'il une suite, car j'ai bien aimé le mod mais un peu court. Merci beaucoup

      The quest script has been changed, so the quest should start properly now at the end of the previous ones.

      already saves the games after the quest not start,so how to start the quest?do i need to talk to the guy? or i need to start all over again with another saves?

      ps-still not working...i load autosave before find her at the secret door,i take her soul gems and go back,finish the quest disepearing in the dark...and that its....CRIMSON EVISCERATOR quest not event start...nothing at all....hrmmm... is there a console command for me to start CRIMSON EVISCERATOR manualy?

      Since the script was changed, you need to start on a save that didn't have started the mod at all, and probably didn't have it in the load order for it to take the script into account and work.

      Otherwise, just type "setstage DDBQuest07 10" in the console command.

    Hello! Just a question: do the dungeons in Alik'r Desert, like Al Shedim, Hamunaptra, and Khenzedum, respawn? Thanks

      Yes. Enemies respawn (except unique bosses) and chests as well.

      Thanks! I asked because I entered Al Shedim for the first time, killed most mummies, and after leaving that place, return to Skyrim and waiting 31 days in game, then on the second visit to Al Shedim the enemies were not there. What are supposed to be the times for respawn?

      Normally it should be between 10 to 30 days, since it's just normal Skyrim spawn rate.

      These dungeons were added by the original Gray Cowl mod though, so I have pretty much nothing to do with any of them, so I am mostly speculating here (but I did check in the CK and yes treasures and mobs are supposedly set to respawn).
