ammmm...its NEOPronouns the better improved and all better than the old and wrong way of thinking.... also, why is it just they/them?? where are my neopronouns??
All of the options in this mod are like filters for the existing lines that shipped with the game and other mods. The options don’t add new lines to hear based on your configuration, they make sure the lines that you do hear are restricted only to those you’ve allowed for your character.
With this in mind, the They/Them option really means “I don’t want to hear any He/Him or She/Her lines right now”, so there’s no point at which your configured neopronouns would be used. Additionally, there are lines that refer to you as “they” and these do not contain condition functions identifying themselves, since everyone was meant to hear these lines. Explicitly offering neopronouns as a configuration would imply that those lines should not be heard either, and that’s not something I can offer practically, short of evaluating and patching every line in the game. Even if that were a possibility, there’d be so many cases where you couldn’t proceed without playing one of those lines that the option really wouldn’t help you.
One area where neopronouns could be useful would be in text aliases for things like notes that mention your character. That’s an area worth exploring for a future update.
Fingers crossed this mod finally stops Sofia from referring to my male character as a woman. Inigo & every other npc (modded or otherwise) can see the bearded Nord man standing in front of them.
Sounds like the conditions on that/those specific line(s) are off, so this likely won't help. This seems like the kind of issue something like the unofficial patch would target.
I may be dumb but I did look for an answer. I made a new trans man character with this mod, and when I went back to my previous male character, he now has the female body on all saves, including with this mod disabled, and using racemenu resets his appearance. Is there a fix?
This mod doesn't have any impact on body types on its own. You might want to check your load order to see if some other mod is causing this, or interacting with this in a bad way. Disabling this mod might not stop the SKSE plugin that ships with it from functioning (depends on how you are doing that), so your best bet would probably be to fully uninstall this mod before checking if that behavior persists.
is anyone having issues using multiple pronouns? whenever i try to set it that way 70% he/him, 30% she/her i get crashes but if i keep it as just one or the other everything runs perfect.
This is the first I’ve seen this reported, and it’s an aspect of this mod I wouldn’t think would be very likely to crash. What interval did you have configured to re-pick pronouns? What are you doing when it crashes, and how long does it take to crash after changing the setting?
anywhere from a couple minutes to 10 minutes before a crash. i don't know about the interval. as for what doing when it crashes, i haven't been able to pinpoint any specific action. i do know that if i set it to use only one pronoun i can play for hours without issue.
this is a lovely mod, and i enjoy it a lot. the only criticism i have is that the pronouns reset once you die then you have to change them again. other than that i love it !
That very much shouldn’t be the case. Your configuration should be saved into your SKSE cosave, so any save after you’ve configured that value should be reloading the correct one. That being said, I did just rebuild this mod from scratch, so there might be a bug.
This was a bug due to CommonLibSSE using an integer version number where raw SKSE used a float. Got bit by implicit casting here. Version 2.1.2 should fix this. Thanks for pointing this out, this was not on my radar.
Ugh! gender neutral words pls i.e. champion, saviour etc. instead of hero, If only words were banned from real life like "hero", "heroine" etc the world would be a better place.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but I think hero is kinda one of those words like actor, where there's definitely a feminine version but nobody really cares lol
my male side punches the air with his fist and wholeheartedly agrees with your comment, whereas my female side is annoyed and my GN side says just use the word "performer', theatre person, drama queen thing
wonder if brynolf will refer to me as lass, lad or ?! if I choose multiple.
Ugh, trolls who can't even convincingly parody the language of the people they're trying to mock please return to the dungeon. It's sooooo easy to just go, "huh, this mod definitely isn't for me", and then just... move along. Leaving comments like this isn't going to make your dad hug you. Be better.

This took some reverse engineering, so please notify me if you run into any issues. As always, let me know what you think here in the comments!
