Honestly one of the best mods I've ever downloaded. I hate that vanila iron potato tankards, this mod brings me to a nice level of immersion on the Nord's land
Your Tankard looks really really good. But I dislike the red metal reflections it has. Every time I look at, the unjustified red reflections trigger me. If you can fix that the Tankard will be perfect, it will blend better with the environment and will increase immersion.
SkoomaDelRey I play Skyrim VR, in VR you tend to notice details more than the flat version of the game. When you look at a piece of metal that reflects a red color in an environment that doesn't have a red color at all (blue sky, green forest, yellow brown land) or an interior (yellow candle lights, white windows light, dark rooms) and then you see a constant red reflection!! Now that is strange and doesn't make sense. No other metallic furniture piece give this strange reflection. So that is why it is unjustified. Because there is no reason for a red reflection to exist in most of Skyrim's environment.
I've been seeking out small details like these to make Skyrim feel more like it was described to be in Morrowind. Less generic medieval fantasy, and more Old Norse fantasy. These mugs are a small but perfect step in that direction.
but what drink do you need? Beer or water?... here you have beer and water... ElSopa Animated adon I just had to change the scale... for table anim obj..etc.. were too small... O,o.. (before 0.9?)
I went ahead and tried it with Animated Eating Redux, and while the mesh appears it has that purple, missing texture error. If there would be a workaround i'd be so thankful! For the references, i use Vortex and i let your glorious tankard win the conflict on animobjecttabletankard.nif.
Edit : On a closer look, the purple tankard should be a different mesh from something i don't know...i don't use any mods that changes tankards other than yours so that's weird. The thing that i realized is that, when the NPC is using the animation where they only hold the tankard on the table, your tankard model shows up but when the NPC uses the animation where they hold the cup on their thighs, and sometimes lifts it up to drink, instead of your tankard, the unknown purple tankard shows up.
Edit 2 : After a long period of observing through my current playthrough, it's a different mesh indeed, and it was Basic Dining Set Replacer's tankard. Weird thing is, i never used that mod and Animated Eating Redux itself did not list the replacer as an requirement as well, but it uses that tankard model after installing, without it's textures hence the missing texture error. And then, installing Basic Dining Set Replacer and Mur4s4me's patch fixes the missing texture problem. Letting your mod winning the conflict did not do anything in the end, so it's incompatible i presume.
"What common object (with no moving parts) would you like to see ElSopa'd?"
Finally, my cue! Could you please make a wooden comb? I have spent more time than I would like to admit thinking about how deplorable it is that Skyrim has many decorative items, but no combs, nowhere. Despite their craftiness with carving and all the braided hairstyles / beards... I'm not too proud to beg for a comb! PLEASE, please make one? Unless you only make new models for already existing items?
Happy new year :)
TL;DR: My life's happiness depends on a wooden comb in Skyrim
It's some day; I put something basic together. Nothing near as nice as ElSopa's work here but at least it is there ( I though there must be one already, but its impossible to search for on nexus getting the whole list of COMBat mods...so I'd see if I could make one myself ): https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/43923
I love that you add 512 quality, I have a medium computer, but I used to have a potato so I got used to lower quality, but upscaled lower quality, cuz your tankard looks so amazing!!!
