Um, this mod has almost 5000 downloads. Why has no one mentioned that there are a dozen unneeded vanilla meshes packed inside the mod? You only need the three custom meshes...

Indeed... I don't tend to check inside .bsa files, but you are right. I cleaned it. You spotted everything, as expected from an experienced moder.

Isn't this fixed in the "Cleaned Repacked BSA" optional file?

      Yes, it is.

Does this need a patch for Majestic Mountains? Loading it after MM, there's still all kinds of terrain conflicts, with quite a lot of the path to the mountain top buried beneath (what I assume is) MM terrain.

Edit: The culprit turned out to be Mountains Enhanced (from: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38655). Easily fixed by setting the initially disabled flag on 6-8 statics added by that mod.

DynDOLOD 3.0 won't run with this mod installed (either ESL or ESP version): there's an error in the activator record for the shrine. Checked it myself in xEdit. Would you mind fixing it? I'm not clear on what the missing reference is supposed to be, unfortunately.

I got the same problem. This mod is nice, but I can do without it if it's never going to be fixed.

It's an easy fix, one of the references in the script seem to be broken. Just open the mod in SSEdit, go to the section called "Activator", search for the error, replace the error with: FE000835 (it should auto complete to "Blessing of Kyne")

      That should do it

Cool, thanks! As I said, I was having trouble working out what should go there. Can definitely fix it myself now :D

That moment when mods are more lore friendly than the game itself

Really wish the old gods got some more rep in Skyrim. Stealing the imperial pantheon is lame af. I'd love more shrines to Shor, Tsun and whatnot

I'm well aware. I'm extremely excited for his riften expansion and I hope he works on solitude next.

Hope the altar says Shine of Kyne instead of Kynareth, has greater/more powerful blessing attribute and the same is done for Froki's shrine.

By the way, the ESL file you gave still establishes itself as a plugin.
  8. This pairs nicely with Thunderchild. Thanks! :D

Now that is a well done mod, it's one of those mods that really encourage exploration by putting interesting sites into remote places, but this does it in such as subtle way that it really feels natural to Skyrim. I can easily see the Nords making a shrine like this, only I have to wonder how many Nords lost their lives placing those  (stone/metal/wood?) pillars into the mountainside :)

It's heavily implied that ancient Nordic (Atmoran) structures were built with the help of and to accommodate giants and that giants were once much more intelligent and not only welcome but revered in their society. Not on the same level as dragons obviously, but they saw them as kinsmen that happened to be larger and stronger. So a giant probably did it?
