The HDT-SMP physics options may show duplicate hair. Choose a no-physics option until a fix is found. If anyone has any ideas of what is causing it, DM me.

I tested this with CBBE-Curvy. If your body version has horrible clipping at the bottom of the hood, upload SFW pics with her wearing Vampire Royal Armor - her default attire.

If you have major glitches with Serana and this mod:

    1. What options did you choose when installing this mod?

    2. What options did you choose when installing Serana Re-Imagined? Is it installed?

    3. Does this mod overwrite Serana Re-Imagined? It must.

    4. Are you using a mod manager like Vortex with conflict rules to make this overwrite Serana Re-Im.? Do it.

    5. What other mods are you using that change Serana's appearance? That's dangerous and untested.

Post a screenshot or video of what you're seeing. It can be unlisted on Youtube for example. Post a link here or DM.

Here is a guide on how to fix the double hair guide:
First, you want to download body slide and outfit for mesh customization on nexus.
Then, navigate through your game files to Steam/Steamapps/Common/SkyrimSE/Data/Meshes/Actors/Character/FacegenData/Facegeom/Dawnguard.esm
There you want to open the 00002B6C file using the outfit tool found in SkyrimSE/Data/Caliente Tools
Once you open it, select the three hair meshes one by one. And Set Alpha to 0, as well as the Threshold for transparency.
Once you have done this for all 3, and saved them, you should see bold Serana mesh on your screen.
After that export the file as .NIF and replace the 00002B6C file with it.
Deploy mods again just in case and go to game.

      Hey there mate,
Version 2.0a works fine, I'm certain of it. You have to fish it out in the old files section.
It does show up as red hair, though, in case you wanna get the black hair version of the mod.
There's a simple workaround for it. Open up XEdit, select the Serana Reimagined mod, navigate to Non-Player character actor in the left pane, look for "HCLF - Hair color" in the main panel and make sure both values are "HairColor12BlackTrue"Black". That should do the trick :)
      Cheers!

Overlapping with Serana Re-imagined eyes revisited, which one do I put on top in the load order?

      Eyes revisited go last :).
      So, SRI>HPH>SRI Eyes RV.
That load order works for me!

      EDIT:
In case you wanna get the HPH-HDT version working with Eyes Re-Vissited mod, all you have to do is:
Download Eyes Re-Visited, install it, and using Outfitstudio open up the Facegeom file of the mod named 00002B6C. Select the SeranaEyesHumanVampireNord part,  right click and select properties.
Click on the textures button and copy the different texture paths shown.
Next up, replace the "Meshes" folder of Eyes Re-Visited  with the meshes folder of SRI HPH-HDT. Ensure both HPH-HDT and SRI EyesRevisited folders have the same "Meshes" folder.
Lastly, open  the new facegeom file you copied from SRI HDT with Outfitstudio. Select the SeranaEyesHumanVampireNord  part and, following the same procedure you did to find the texture paths, select and replace the texture paths with the ones you got from the original Facegeom file of this mod. Export as a NIF using the same name (00002B6C) and replace the old version with the one you just exported.
      That should do the trick!
PS: I'm using SRI HPH Version 2.0a as the author indicated that version solved the dreaded double hair bug. If you are having trouble with her having black hair, simply open up XEdit, select the Serana Reimagined mod, navigate to Non-Player character actor in the left pane, look for "HCLF - Hair color" and make sure both values are "HairColor12BlackTrue"Black".
      Cheers!

I'm heartbroken to report that the double hair bug persists in version 2.0 - Black hair :(. Any workaround for this lingering issue?
Just to be clear, I'm using (or trying to, at least) the HDT-SMP version. The bug occurs when she's not wearing the hood. When she is the mod works fine.

    EDIT:
Just checked and the same thing happens with both red colour alternatives :(

    SECOND EDIT:
After snooping around I realized that the HDT version that works is 2.0a, as listed in the bugs tab of the mod. It can be found in the "old files" section.
All versions show up as red hair, though. But in case you wanna get the black hair version of the mod, there's a simple workaround for it. Open up XEdit, select the Serana Reimagined mod, navigate to Non-Player character actor in the left pane, look for "HCLF - Hair color" in the main panel and make sure both values are "HairColor12BlackTrue"Black". That should do the trick

Gonna make another post because I think you misunderstood me. Im using 2.0b black hair. But currently there is a bug where it gives off double hair. SMP and non smp hair at the same time. I always just made non smp hair transparent and played like that. But the physics hair keeps colliding with non smp transparent hair and jumping like crazy because of it all the time.

I have also tested 2.0a red hair (because everytime I downloaded black it gave me red anyway) and it seems to have the same issue. Both 2.0b black and 2.0a red hair is very jumpy and vibrating. From a close look it seems like it is having collision issues and it looks a slight bit like she has 2 physics hairs at the same time. Its like one physics hair keeps getting stuck in the other one, and because of that it is all jumpy and twitchy.

Update: After further testing on all the versions. I can confirm that she has 2 hairs with physics equipped at the same time. Both hairs with physics keep colliding with each other, and that makes the hair ultra jumpy and twitchy. Any way to fix this issue?

Hello, I have a problem, I use the latest fsmp, Serana's hair has strange vibrations, I tried other physical wigs and did not seem to have encountered this problem, this may not be a problem with the mod, just wanted to ask if anyone is experiencing the same problem, is there a way to fix it, thank you!

I haven't seen it. If you can record video of it happening, post it somewhere like Youtube as unlisted and link it on the FSMP discord server.

I have the same problem. The hair jumps all over the place. It is the double hair bug. Even if I make original hair invisible, it feels like physics hair collides with that hair and keeps on jumping around. Downloading 2.0a black hair results in red hair installation for some reason.

The physics work for hooded hair, but not the non-hooded hair.

Using Vortex, I have this mod set to overwrite everything from the Serana Re-Imagined ESL mod (black hair), but when I try loading my save, I get a "This save relies on content you have installed but not active: serana re-imagined.esp" warning. Any help? I have her dialogue add-on and cure quest plus mods installed as well.

Does I need to load it after or before Serana Re-Imagined - Eyes Re-Visited ?

I would say load Eyes Re-Visited after this mod so that the eye textures built into that FaceGeom overwrite this mod's FaceGeom. If you're using the BloodWine version of this mod you can open Eyes Re-Visited's FaceGeom file with Nifscope and forward the hair tint colour from that Bloodwine version.

If Nifscope is a bit too advanced for you, then I recommend just testing both having this mod overwrite Eyes Re-Visited and vice versa to see what happens in-game.

They are not compatible. If another mod overwrites the facegen head from this mod, you'll see things like the hair clipping through the hood.

I tested 3 times. No clipping. No incompab. For me works normally.

Btw, placed Eyes Re-Visited after this mod

Hello, following your loading order for red hair, your mod completely overwrites the SRI Red Hair optional file mod, does it make any sense? I'm using MO2

Yes. That is correct. The parent mod is required for credit reasons and just in case there is anything more this mod does not provide. It is ok to disable the SRI Red Hair file if your mod manager says it is redundant.
