About this mod
Improves upon Requiem's Stone of the Shadow ability, by granting you an additional passive ability that makes more difficult for NPCs to spot you when under low light conditions. Base Requiem's Stone of the Shadow ability is still there and untouched.

I always thought that Requiem's Shadow Stone ability was, let's be honest, complete garbage. Invisibility+muffle once a day for 300 seconds when compared to the Thief Stone makes this a no brainer.
So, thinking of ways to improve the abilities of the Shadow Stone, I decided to add a passive ability to it, to make it harder for NPCs to detect you when under very dark conditions/shadows. The intention here is to make Vipir's remarks on Vex apply to you as well: "Once she steps on the shadows, she vanishes"
This mod adds a passive to your character, should you choose to select the Shadow of Stone, that treats your character's light level lower than it acctually is, thus making it harder for NPCs to spot you. The mod takes effect whenever you're under a light level below 30, treating your light level for the purposes of the detection formula to be much lower than that - thus making you much harder to be seen when in the shadows.
My intention here is to make the Shadow Stone more useful than what it currently is (cause let's face it, it currently is garbage). With the mod, it should be specially useful for early game sneak characters, before you have more broad access to invisibility potions or spells, helping you hide when you have low level sneak skill, provided you don't move or otherwise make any sound.
Keep in mind that this mod doesn't give any bonuses to your character sneak skill, so any detection event based on sounds made by you would be just as hard as vanilla Requiem. Keep in mind also that light levels perception vary wildly between different dungeons and imagespaces, and also between different lighting and weather mods, so you can't properly assess how bright or dark is a place ingame by just looking at the screen. In that sense, this mod helps a lot: Detect Light Level (NOT required). Is what I used to assess light levels in different shadow conditions, that led me to decide for a light level threshold of 30 for the mod.
The original once-a-day power granted by the stone from Requiem is still there and untouched.
