Hey just wanted to share a recent load order hiccup that I had. From what I could tell it was not an issue with this mod but with my Load order. I have SavrenX Lydia and Jordis replacer mods installed and added Stealthier Lydia as well. I am new to Modding so I use LOOT to sort and load. I started a new playthrough and once I gained my faithful House Carl I kept getting the Black Face. What I found was that LOOT would load Stealthier Lydia after SavrenX. If I manually set priority to load SavrenX last all seems fine. Unfortunately, I have to remember to adjust this each time I run Loot as it seems to want to switch the order back.
The one thing that I have not found though is it seems some of the inventory items appear to be missing like the necromancer hood. I'm still stepping through to see if this is another load error though. Just wanted to share and say thank you to Undriel for putting this Mod up!
You want to load the makeover mod after this mod then move this mods changes and the looks from the makeover mod to a patch after both. That way you use the right facegens but the stat changes get forwarded.
Hello! Your mod is just what I need but it doesn't seem to work for me like at all. Seems like there are no changes. For instance as for the perks I'm currently running follower mod and there are no changes at least I can see none. What could I have possible done wrong? What mods can cause trouble? I've installed the patch as well but still nothing.
UPD: I failed to find the source of the problem so I started over. And it worked. The mod seems to work only when starting a new game for me.
Therefore I have two questions: 1) Is Lydia limited to her leather armor which she wears even if there is no armor in her inventory? The thing is I can't make her wear standalone armor, and the only thing that changes the appearance of her outfit is vanilla armor overhall that affects leather armor in particular. 2) How can I actually see the perks for I could check if everything was installed correctly?
UPD2: I ended up loading a later save and somehow everything was ok. Now I can change her outfit and there are items in her inventory. Skills also tend to grow. To sum up I would say that installing the mod during playthrough might be tricky.
Great mod! I love it. I currently am NOT running Amorous Adventures or + but when one does the quest that lands you Lyds as a lover has the Warmaiden herself provide Lydia with a full suit of heavy armor. This could stand some patching for Stealthy Lydia.
Also, as of the second change changelogs are often called for. But mostly I wanted to thank you. "Death of stealth" characters have always been problematic for me; Put it this way, one of my Fallout 4 mods that does extreme or outright silly makeovers of all followers will forever be on the lineup because it makes all the Handy/Nanny followers (and Supervisor White) gynoids instead and *they can crouch* which means they actually at least attempt stealth.
just started a new playthrough with this mod installed. Got to the point of recruiting Lydia and got the dreded black face. Now I'm running 231 plugins. Those that may be relevant are KS hairdos Lite SE, KSHair for Flower Girls and Immersive Wenches and Ordinator. Let me know of any other mods you may think relevant and I let you know if I am using them.
Ahhh YES. So excited to try this for my next playthrough!
**UPDATE: It looks like it conflicts with one of my other mods. I use "KS Hairdos Lite SE", which simply adds 20 hairstyles for the player in Racemenu, but also replaces a few followers' hair with KS hair. It doesn't change anything else that I'm aware of. LOOT loaded Stealthy Lydia after KS Hairdos, and I got the dreaded npc "black face" (is there a better term for this, btw?), and none of the Stealthy Lydia's gear was in her inventory. I tried switching up the load order, loading KS Hairdos after Stealthy Lydia. While it fixed the face bug, her inventory still didn't show the light armor gear that came with the mod. Finally, I tried disabling KS Hairdos, and that seemed to do it; no face bug and the stealthy items were in her inventory.
I don't have any follower mods, and the only other mods I have that affect the appearance of NPC's are for vampires (Vampire Facial Reclamation SSE and Cosmetic Vampire Overhaul SSE A), but she isn't a vampire so idk.
Notes: I did install this mid playthrough, so that could very well be an issue. I also had to use console commands to teleport Lydia to me right before installing this mod (used ref id so she isn't a copy), so perhaps that caused an issue somehow. Not sure, but more info couldn't hurt.
I'm new to using mods, so it's definitely possible I just missed something glaringly obvious. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
**EDIT: Still hasn't worked for me, but I wanted to update and say install mods mid-playthrough and use console commands at your own risk.
I was just going to say the same thing. This does make her a much more versatile character so that's nice, but I was wondering about using this with other Lydia mods like Lydia's improved dialogue overhaul.
