    MINI-FAQ
(Because You Didn't Read The Description)

!!!EDIT: WARNING, THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH BHUNP V4. YOU NEED V2 FROM THE OPTIONAL FILES AND PRE-V3 OR UUNP CONVERSIONS! I WILL NOT BE SUPPORTING THE POST-SLIDER CULLING UPDATE AT ALL, EVER!!!
    >"Halp, I installed this but my NPCs haven't morphed!"
BodyGen seems to have a wacky 20-NPC-per-cell-load morphing limit, in my experience. I'm not sure how to increase it - I'd love it if somebody else did - So I'd recommend just walking in and out of doors until the NPCs you want morphed are morphified. This will maybe hopefully be unkrangled if/when I get around to making an OBody-based v2

    >"I'm using NMM and-"
NMM is such an outdated piece of trash that it can't even unpack this pile of INI files correctly. I will not provide support to those using ancient managers. Vortex is literally a direct upgrade and can import your LO directly from that old thing, there is no excuse.

    >"I'm changing a few morphs, but I've already loaded the game. How do I make the NPCs re-morph again?"
The great asdasfa has provided a link to a SE NiOverride Cleaner. SImply run that on your SKSE co-save and your existing morphs should have vanished. And make sure you're not at work or without an adblocker when opening that link.

    >"Future plans for this mod?"
I'll maybe still be updating this to manually do NPCs from more mods that release, as well as more alternate versions of followers and the like. I'm also gonna be making BHUNP/TBD patches for follower mods with unique bodies, so any I do that for will have alts here!

I considered doing an oBodyNG version, but frankly oBodyNG seems far more geared to tiny, dynamic personal setups vs. GIGA LORE HANDPICKED BODYGEN PRESETS like the ones I'm doing. Ini files from this should be fully compatible with AutoBody, though, if you want dynamic tweaking.

As for alternate bodies - Legacy UUNP is already supported in this mod as I believe the slider names should be identical, and only minimal details of a rare few presets could be lost. I've also thought about supporting TBD as a half-joke, but due to the lack of BHUNP-like variety that remains as just a thing for me to maybe eventually do when I feel like procrastinating. - Lite version is a thing now, go wild. That being said, half the reason this mod exists is to make people realise that there's body mods other than CBBE, and that, honestly, they're more fun and deserve wayyy more support, so expect there to never be a version for that body unless I get seriously bored.

    >"CBB-"
    No.

    SUGGESTIONS OPEN!

Hey! You should also mention or link to the updated NetImmerse Override Cleaner (Warning: LL Link), so that folks may know how to reset the morphs.

Actually, I'll just sticky this post because I'm lazy. Thank you so much by the way, it's your work that made this all possible.

Very nice mod, I have a few questions though, about the limitations of BodyGen as well as saving or dumping data for NPC's I've edited manually. Starting with the BodyGen question, it seems that it does include both, but I'd figure I'd ask to make sure, but does it just handle tri morphs/the ones you see in BodySlide, and also NiNode scaling? And randomly applies values across both those to NPC's? And as a segue onto my next question, if I've already set up unique values across both those lists on a number of NPC's in my save game, is there a way to somehow save that data to an ini or however this mod functions so that I can reapply those specific values on every new game I were to create?

And finally, I figure I'd just say, it does suck how limited SAM is for males, and for as much crap as people give the Shacken body (especially ultra loyalists on the Vector Plexus forums) it does vastly improve on SAM. I still use SAM for personal reasons, but it would be nice to see another male body mod release in the same vein as those two, without being attached to that awful Shacken site.

Not sure what I could have done wrong, but every single NPC has the exact same body. In fact, there's less diversity now than there was when I was just using a single BHUNP body, because now it looks like everyone is set to the exact same weight. Not only that, but every old lady is now super busty, which was something the mod was explicitly designed to avoid, and Serana is not using the body I chose in the FOMOD, she's using the exact same super busty body that literally every other NPC is using.

Incredibly stupid user error on my part. I'm playing in VR with the Ultimate VR Essentials Wabbajack mod list, and I knew for a fact that RaceMenu and its VR patch came with the modlist. What I hadn't bothered checking was whether or not it was enabled, which it was not. D'oh.

I do have another question now that I got it working, though. Some of the NPCs are a bit too masculine and broad shouldered, which I'm not a huge fan of. Digging through the .ini, it looks like those particular NPCs are using a preset called "Frost Maiden." Which I don't think is a preset that comes standard with BodySlide or BHUNP. I'm wondering if it's meant to be this preset: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16104 because in-game, it definitely looks nothing like that.

If I personally don't care for it, is changing simply a matter of editing the ini to a different preset? And you said the morphs are baked into the save, does that mean if I load the save, then decide to change the inis afterward, will the NPC not change?

Incidentally, digging through the inis makes me appreciate the amount of work it took to make this mod, since you actually manually assigned every NPC a different preset based on BaseID. That's an unbelievably large and tedious amount of work, so thanks for putting in the time.

FAQ at the top of this comment section should answer that question I think

Wow, pretty comprehensive stuff. I didn't even know you could specify morphs for certain races.

Judging from the file structure, it lookes like BHUNP3BBB.esp is required? My understanding is that some install options for BHUNP don't include that ESP, I'm guessing that means the mod won't work?

Mine doesn't and seems to be working fine, but I may have done something wrong. Could I just changed the file structure to refer to Skyrim.esm or is that plugin a hard requirement? Thanks.

Awesome work with this mod, I appreciate the dedication to handpicking a preset for each NPC.

You mentioned wanting to do the males at some point, what do you think of this new male body that just got released, HIMBO?

I am *just* beginning to gear up for that! I'll need to refit my stuff first, so a conversion hub will likely come first. I also need to mess around with some advanced stuff, as I happen to use a different set of beastfolk textures than the ones that mod provides, and also need to fix my favourite SOS addons to fit it.

Once it's all set up for my game, I'll mess around with creating presets and bodygenning for each NPC. No more toned Farengar!

I'm starting to mass-convert stuff for BHUNP just to increase support. Thank you for helping the club!

I'll be honest; the only reason I've never tried UNP is because I never found a good explanation for how to get it to work with Bodyslide.  CBBE is incredibly straightforward in that regard.

Yeah. The lack of documentation is depressing - Especially since UNP bodies can be confusing.

base UNP (i.e. UNP female body renewal) doesn't have bodyslide support. You want BHUNP, which does. Additionally, BHUNP doesn't come with a vanilla clothing replacer - Though I'm trying to fix that - So you'll need Shiva's UUNP Vanilla Clothing. To be slightly more confusing, UUNP clothing works perfectly fine on BHUNP, except physics may be weird and the new sliders (hipforward, aruru, etc) won't work with them on.

Rest is no different from cbbe. You build the Advanced V2 body, hands and feet in bodyslide and the clothes, and it just works. Thanks, Todd Howard.

For some reason, the body type and size of all women in the game are the same (big, but not much). Why does it happen?

You probably didn't set everything up correctly. You need to enable RaceMenu morphs when installing RaceMenu and Bodyslide and then build all of your BHUNP or UUNP Outfits with the Zeroed Sliders preset and Build Morphs enabled.

Mod isn't installing with NMM. After unpacking it & removing the Fomod folder it installed, but I had to manually repack the body choices I wanted(Base Semi-Immersive plus patches for additional mods) into the mod for it to install correctly without the fomod. In-game Vanilla female NPC bodies haven't changed though, but female NPCs added by mods have. Any idea what could be wrong? Also I build the body & clothing zeroed with morphs checked before installing.

NMM is broken and ancient and can't even install this pile of INI files properly. I will provide no support to people using outdated mod managers.

I was using NMM as well. The problem appears to be with how NMM does it's virtual file system, and a Windows limit on how long file paths and filenames can be. Just do like I did, dump NMM and move to MO2 (tried Vortex, don't like it). It took a couple of days to add all the mods and get them configured so they would work with my existing saves, but things seem to work much better overall.
