I'll try to make one today. Edit: My skyrim broke so it might take a while. You can manually do it by following the instructions from the original LE become a bard.
Rename the xwm files to Custom01.xwm, Custom02.xwm, etc.
Create a new folder at Skyrim\Data\Sound\FX\Mus\Bard\Custom. You may not have these subfolders, starting with the Sound folder. Create any additional folders you need to get to Skyrim\Data\Sound\FX\Mus\Bard\Custom. TIP: The root Skyrim folder referred to above is your Skyrim game folder. For example, I have Steam installed on my D:\ drive. So, my Skyrim game folder is at D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim. Your Skyrim folder may be at C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim or somehwere similar.
Not sure if these instructions work for the SE MCM version since I cant get the game working right now but it should.
I noticed that in the official bard soundtrack there are 2 versions of Wayward Wanderer, but only 1 version present in your mod in the extra songs category. But for Vatyrs which also has two versions, both are included in this mod. Do you have any plans to add the second version alongside the rest? I'd give it a go myself but I don't know how to convert to a .xwm file.
I like this, in Enderal can spend far too much time sitting in the taverns listening to the bards, grabbed the female lyrics as I usually play a female dark elf or breton though I do prefer how the guy sings especially Whisperwood.
So I picked out 9 that I thought would fit into the world well; Track Listing 1. The Wayward Wonderer - Length 119 - The Dragonborn 2. The Crimson Star - Length 179 - Ysgramor 3. The Last Sunset - Length 172 - The Elder Scrolls Afterlife 4. The Lost Ones - Length 126 - The Draugr 5. The Black Guardian - Length 187 - One of the daedra in Oblivion 6. The Vatyrs - Length 126 - Werebears 7. The Wild Mages - Length 175 - Necromancers and the like 8. The Whisperwood - Length 174 - The Falkreath Forest 9. The Winter Sky - Length 315 - Mara's quest to reuinite loving couples.
I found the times given in the txt file were off and I listened in audacity to begin with, recorded the time and converted it to seconds, popped into game to test and found with 5 of them the times matched in the original text file, particularly The Winter Sky being 20 seconds too short so thought that was odd. So I had my phone timer next to me and as soon as the lute appeared in hand I'd start the timer and used that to work out length so those times given above work for those songs picked, a couple were from the alternative folder.
In the same order as it is above I would use the following commands for those songs. set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength01 to 119.00 set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength02 to 179.00 set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength03 to 172.00 set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength04 to 126.00 set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength05 to 187.00 set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength06 to 126.00 set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength07 to 175.00 set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength08 to 174.00 set _LP_BardMUSCustomLength09 to 315.00
I guess there isn't a bard mod/working instrument mod for Enderal itself? Been trying to find one. Nice work with this mod, Enderal has beautiful music.
No, the mod "Become a Bard" makes you do the lute playing animation that the bards in skyrim use. The lute animation will last for the entire song if you use the console commands.
