Can this be used to implement a system whereby consuming a higher rank spell tome is not possible unless you've already consumed the rank preceding it first?
So, I want to mention that this specific mod, while wonderful for a ton of other mods, breaks the Summon Inigo spell tome. I can read it, it stays in my inventory, but the spell doesn’t get learned.
Amazing mod ! but you say that you can go back to the fact that spell tomes are destroyed when reading them. However i do not understand how you can do it ? Maybe someone can help me ?
"In short, it's not balanced" - why? I buy a book, learn a spell and then sell the book, the merchant buys it for less money because he can sell it to someone else for more money, what is "not balanced" about that?
I always thought it was weird that the spell tomes disappeared after use. I don't care about selling them back, but I might see about increasing the per-book cost in my game by a factor of ten.
Okay I know this could be a stretch, however, I got to ask because together it would be the ultimate magic addition. I am wondering, if this is compatible with 'Spell Research' along side 'Grimoire'.
Effectively meaning, you don't destroy the spell tomes you find, you research the spell, & can only cast it with the tome itself as intended with 'Grimoire' while you are using it to reach mastery. While on the other hand, when creating a spell using 'Spell Research' you create the tome & then must have it in your inventory while casting the spell & further the mastery.
