Can you try running it via Synthesis and post the log here?

Heya! Thanks so much for making this synthesis patch. In my log it says it compiled and was successful, yet I still have these paintings everywhere. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help further debug it. FWIW I use synthesis a lot and have success with it, but maybe I need to set something up differently? Thanks!

Try running the executable via PowerShell to see if it's giving you any errors (Shift + right-click in the folder the exe is in, click 'Open PowerShell window here' and type .\<name of the patcher executable>(replace <name of the patcher executable> including the < and >)

I did this, this is what happened.

Suggestion [3,General]: The command SFCOPaintingRemover-43036-1-0-1607035093 was not found, but does exist in the current location. Windows PowerShell does not load commands from the current location by default. If you trust this command, instead type: ".\SFCOPaintingRemover-43036-1-0-1607035093". See "get-help about_Command_Precedence" for more details.
      PS C:\Modding> .\SFCOPaintingRemover-43036-1-0-1607035093
The application to execute does not exist: 'C:\Modding\SFCOPaintingRemover.dll'.

I tried running it with the PowerShell and it gave me the error: "The application to execute does not exist: 'PatcherInstallFolder\SFCOPaintingRemover.dll'." Has anyone found a solution?

I don't mind the pictures so much, but the fact that I can't loot them is irking me.
Would a patch be possible, to not remove the paintings from the game, but make them removable and give me a painting in my inventory for each picture I click on?

That would be a lot of effort, I'm not saying it's impossible but definitely out-of-scope for me considering I also have less time for patchers than before

Just downloaded and haven't tested it out yet, but THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Oh my god, those paintings were so awful, killed my immersion and made me cringe every single time I saw one. Looking like fuckin posters in a fantasy-obsessed teenage boy's bedroom, sooooo bad

Finally, loved the mod, but paintings were made from in-game screenshots, not a fan.

Thank you for this and great implementation. Will this also remove those paintings when they are used in other mods, like the Solitude Terrace mod, or Legacy of the Dragonborn? I really just can't stand framed paintings in my Skyrim, and it keeps me from using some swell mods.

No, it won't delete any paintings from other mods. If you're familiar with C# though, it's pretty easy to adapt this patcher to work for other mods.

Does not generate any ESP for me. I must be missing something? Can someone describe more in detail how to use it?
(I also tried using synthesis but it's not picking up mt SDK allthough it's properly installed so that's not working either.)

How do I know it works? Where do i put the exe?
I tried placing it in Data folder (dont use MO2), and a window just flashes for a split-second.

The exe will read your data folder and generate an ESP plugin file for you called SFCOPaintingRemover.esp.
