Nooooo!! I just got my Lakeview Manor built and I love this mod, I had this on PS5 earlier and just found it in nexus too. :D I'm seriously considering to uninstall Hearthfire and start building all over again.. I think I'll use console for iron ingots or I'll go crazy. :D
The no reset zone function is not working. My houses are still resetting if I'm gone long enough. Clutter objects are back to their original positions. Does this mod need to be installed before the house is built?
@SaltySpitoon101 Yes, I said or wrote that initially, because it works. But like many other mods, installing the mod mid playthrough can cause issues, like the one described above. I will correct the description on the mod page to give the right idea.
Necro-posting here, but if I recall correctly, things like cell resets are determined either at the beginning of the game or when you first enter a cell in your game. They're baked into your save file, basically.
Ahh, thank you so much for this mod! Just what I'm looking for.
I love your simple, immersive overhaul mods. And mods like this one, too! They add much to the game without being overly done or extra fancy. Ty so much for all that you do! <3
This makes me a lot more inclined to use a hearthfire home. I built all three in my first game. They were -eh. So so. I tried hearthfire extended. They became a bit less so so, but I mostly used the gardens. Then I used Oppaikun's garden expansion and kept ignoring the house. Then I got DarkFox's Morskom Estate and moved in there instead of any vanilla house. Now it looks like the houses might actually be worth building! Also, with Symonson's record of the Mage College, I'm a lot more invested in his work on future locations.
I haven't checked yet. I'm a novice in xedit (I never figured out how to use ck) so it will take me some time to figure that out. I saw no mention of placement in the description of that mod
I found it. She still sleeps behind the Inn but on the other side under a porch on a rug next to a tub. Since I couldn't find it in xedit I went in game and wait till she went to bed and followed her till she laid down.
Hi, just saw this and got curious about " setting all Heartfire Manors (including the cellars) as No-Reset-Zones " what does it mean? are the vanilla Heartfire Manors do reset? I remember putting clutters/trophy items in the past but it doesn't reset. . so What does it mean?
Normally the interior cells of the manors would reset, since the were flagged that way in the CK, so placed items around the manor would eventually disappear and vanilla items would respawn. Also equipped armors on the mannequins would be unequipped.
If it works for you even without this mod than good for you, it was an issue in the past, maybe it got fixed by Bethesda or the USSEP.
Basically, when you are no longer physically present in a specific cell like your home, or a dungeon, they reset after a specific amount of time. The changes are different for player homes vs dungeons. Dungeons mostly just repopulate the NPC, but won't reset any clutter you take. Homes aren't technically considered Static, most containers inside homes are safe though so you can usually store stuff without the worry of losing all your loot and perishables, but like Symonson said, mannequins and clutter objects that you move around your home for some reason would always reset in Hearthfire when those interiors should've all been static within reason and not resettable.
Heck sometimes, just leaving the main house interior for the world interior and immediately going back inside would sometimes remove objects or knock them over without having to be gone for a few days or weeks.
This sounds quite interesting, and I'll certainly be tracking this! I have a few questions however. Can we get some more screenshots please? Also, does this add more children beds? Finally, is this an esl?
I should probably have been more clear: I use the multiple adoption mod, but the regular hearthfire homes do not have beds for more than 2 children. My question about the beds was in regards to whether you added more beds for the kids.

But it's a pity that there is no format ESL.
Any reason the ground bedroll is missing textures? Or any idea how I can investigate this?
EDIT - deleting the "alternate texture" record on the Static in xEdit fixed it.
You could use a mod that allows you to melt down iron armor and weapons into ingots.
