This is a mod that switches over a few carefully-chosen female NPCs to the adorable FemaleYoungFragile voicetype by Ender570.

I'm gonna keep this description short and sweet (by my standards), since my last one was a bit rambly. Having worked on the fantastic Brave New World project for Fallout: New Vegas (shameless plug here), I love mods that offer new voice-acting in games to add to the typically limited selection of voicework on offer. So when Ender570 released his adorable FemaleYoungFragile voicetype, I jumped on the opportunity to implement it into the game proper.
That said, I didn't go around re-assigning NPCs willy-nilly. I generally refrained from switching over NPCs to the new voicetype if they had a lot of spliced dialogue in mods such as Amorous Adventures and More to Say, since said dialogue would need to be re-spliced in the new voicetype if the NPC were converted. I may do that someday, when I become more masochistic than I already am...
Anyways, here are the NPCs who will now use the FYF voicetype, along with a little explanation so my choices don't seem as arbitrary:
- Svana Far-Shield: Makes her sound more innocent and sympathetic in her Cinderella-esque role as Haelga's mistreated servant.
- Nimphaneth: I'm a sucker for psycho girls who sound cute, and though she only has like two lines, this cannibal cultist fits the bill.
- Hert: See Nimphaneth.
- Nilsine: I just found out that Muiri from the DB questline has the same voice as the girl she wants you to kill. What the hell? I could've revoiced Muiri to solve this problem, but the more innocent-sounding voice fits Nilsine way better, and makes the choice to butcher her feel extra slimy to boot.
- Hermir Strong-Heart: She's basically an Ulfric fangirl, so it made sense to give her a more girly-sounding voice.
- Fastred: Lovestruck young girl, head in the clouds... need I say more?
- Rakel: See Hert and Nimphaneth. Demon waifus FTW!!
- Hroki: Literally just cause she sounds cuter this way. Hey, I didn’t say none of these would be arbitrary!
I've also made a number of patches, because what would an NPC mod be without patches?! (Answer: less of a pain in my ass, but we'll overlook that for now)
Agree with my picks? Think I'm a jackass who talks (types?) too much? Have suggestions for new NPCs to adapt to fantastic work that isn't mine? Let me know in the comments!
