A little message to inform you on the future of my mods and to be honest, it's Dark, really Dark. Relax! my mods will be always free to play and you will be free to port them on others websites or platforms like XBox or PS4, if I'm credited and if you don't make money with them. No, in fact, I have begun the development of an independent game and I will be taken by this new job at full time, so I will be absent and I won't produce any mods.
But, I will deliver you in some years (Two years, I hope) a new game, totally different of Skyrim with a depth story and challenge based on City building management and survival. It's my goal!
If you need help or informations on my mods, I recommend you to send me a private message and I will answer you, all weekends. I inform you equally that my last mod named "Halberds - Skill and Perks Tree" will be uploaded in few days, if you are interested by the tetralogy with "True Spear Combat" and the "Skill and Perks Tree" of my mods.
Nevertheless, I hope you will understand my new position and of course, I hope you will pass a good moments with my mods.

The mod is taking spears as swords, and sword animations apply to attack moves when using spears. Blocking and static wielding seems good though. OAR and Immersive Weapons are installed, and MCO is put before TSC in my load order.
I have Heavy Armory, I have OAR, and I have this - yet all I get are greatsword animations. Even when not using TSC and only using HA, I got greatsword animations.
I just don’t understand why my game refuses to apply the spear anims.
FNIS is worthless garbage, as is the modder who made it. Nemesis is the way to go. DAR unlocks a ton of opportunity for user fine tuning in a way previously difficult to obtain, if you wanna keep it simple the normal one is neither worse nor better. I recommend DAR however because I love animation tweaking.
Your comment is garbage how can you say that about mod that thousands of people used and it was made by volunteer modder. It still works, but is outdated that doesn't mean that it is garbage or the one who made it is garbage. You download them for free have some respect.
Agreed FNIS is definitely outdated now but have served the modding community for years. That's literally the worst conclusion you could give.
It's of course recommended to use DAR now, that's fresh and very well done and brings with him a new era to the skyrim animations mods. But that era wouldn't exist if not for FNIS previously.
Stay cooll, relax in the comments. The advantage of DAR are less script so less memory used in game, more easy to use for modders and gamers. FNIS allow more options like modified behavior or random animation, it's not the case with DAR, it's the balance advantages vs inconvenients.
just wondering, what does the weaponstylespearscript do? its listed in ck but i cant find it anywhere in the files. also, apparently if the game thinks its a greatsword it will sheath on the back, but if not it goes to the hip.
Hi Darkleon54, same for me, but I found out how to correct it. Delete all 1hm* in Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\male and female folder. Then run FNIS again, it works for me. By the way, does anyone know how to display the spear slot with "Immersive Equipment Displays" (it uses sword slot)
