It looks like its using cathedral armory textures which conflicts with "Steel Armors and Weapons Retexture SE" by Xavbio. The Steel Armor's brightness contrasts with the regular steel armor and stands out. Which is weird because all of the other armors are fine. Just steel.
I only just discovered this mod and by extension sfozinda's variations mod and... how do I choose? Sfozinda's mod seems more comprehensive and adds more textures but yours allows for some variety in coverage. I've always hated how skimpy all the armors are in what is supposed to be a cold place, but it would be nice to have the option for bare arms/legs when the weather is nice and sunny. Can I install both or would this conflict?
I've been hoping for a mod like this to arrive on Nexus for such a long time!!!
After the AMAZING NordwarUA's Realistic Armor, Guards Armor Replacer and Unplayable Faction Armors, I basically didn't have almost any of the vanilla armors in my game. This is great to refresh Skyrim and remove some of the unrealistic options without any protection or clothing. But some of the vanilla armors are quite nice as well (i.e. steel armor), especially when they are with sleeves. With this mod, I'm so happy to stumble upon these armors again in my game.
I think you actually found a concept that is really desirable for many people, it is for me at least. Because as far as I know, there used to be only 2 ways of adding new armor and weapons to your game.
1 - You add them as replacers - but you lose the vanilla ones completely from your game 2 - You add them as standalones - but then they are not very prominent in game as they are not distributed as much as vanilla armors
Now thanks to you, there is a 3rd way!
3 - You add mod armors as replacers and then add the desired vanilla armors back to your game with this mod! What a brilliant idea!
I think it would be really appreciated by many if this mod could be enlarged at a future date and introduce options to add ANY vanilla armors back into the game ( including the vanilla guard armors, but now maybe as separate light armor sets!) and perhaps we can pick and choose which ones we want to add back and which ones to discard (and options for sleeves and no sleeves) from a fomod or MCM menu.
EDIT: Just realised that this mod is replacing the thane armors from Realistic Armor though, do you think there would be a way to avoid this?
EDIT 2: When I enter Helgen for the first time with a new game, I find all warm armors floating in the middle of the room. Was this intentional?

No idea whats going on with the Thane armour mod, is my plugin above or below the thane armour in your modlist?
Oh f*#@, is that atill there? I thought I removed them ?
EDIT: As of 19.1.22, not sure what changed but this issue is no longer present
This mod was made for me lol. I have so much "unnecessary" variety in my game its ridiculous lol.
