Known issues that I'm trying to track down, would help if some other people could help me pinpoint these textures.

Some fog (Sovngarde fog for sure) has a visible seam (fixed in 2.2)
[Barely] visible seam in the water foam (fixed in 2.2)
Ice wraith pile after they die has a visible seam (fixed in 2.2)
Loading screen fog flickering slightly (fixed in 2.4)
Restoration effect has seam issues (fixed in 3.0)

    Nothing as of right now.

    UPDATE ON STATUS: 2023

After much thought, I have decided I will be dropping support of project clarity. Moving forward I will not be updating, or fixing any problems that arise. Project clarity is now offered AS-IS. I am focusing on other projects, specifically Resurgence, that I would like to get done. Trying to keep up with project clarity has become too much.

As a heads up if you get crashes or CTDs from this its because you have a mod that is using a file from the BSA which is a simple fix [also long]

Extract the BSA into a file then into a archive and place it into your mod manager then you will see the conflicts.

    Here is what I do.

Find the files in the Effect mod that are conflicting with other mods and delete them from the folder.
Do this until no more conflicts and if you do not plan to install anymore enhancer mods then repack it as a bsa but I do not know how to make the ESL or ESP again.

I usually just leave it as loose files incase I want to install more enhancers.

Wow, I had no idea this could be causing so many CTDs. My load order had no chance if every conflict with this could cause a crash.

I'm assuming you need to let the other texture files override this one.

Enable bsa parsing in mod organizer to see overwrites.

The mod seems to disable itself in my load order every time I reopen the game. I realise the advice for this will probably just be "use a mod manager" because I'm not, but I thought I'd ask as it's not an issue I've come across with anything else.

I have zero experience with not using a mod manager, so I'm afraid I can't really help you.

So, if I install this, the following mods aren't gonna work, right?

    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29817
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/46024

(Embers XD should work i suppose, because it has an esp)

They'll work fine. They will automatically overwrite my textures since loose files take priority over bsa files.

Would you know if this blocky fog texture would be from this mod, or no:

I don't think so. Can you possibly get the name of the .nif for that mesh?

Struggling to get a screenshot between the random nature of the load screens and that you can't seem to take one while loading,
The one load screen with the enchanting table, in vanilla there is a circular green glow around the sphere, with this mod loaded it is square.

I believe the mesh is loadscreenenchantingworkbench.nif and the texture is textures\effects\GlowSoft01.dds

Do you need the esp file? Could you just use the Textures.bsa file in game?

Yes the esp is needed, it's empty though, it's just there to load the bsa files.

The loading screen fog seems to be flickering again for me.
I dont have any files overwriting pc effects.

Installing the hotfix on the AIO page seems to fix.

Confound it all!! I knew I should have tested that before I updated. Guess that's what I get for thinking it'll be fine :/

So I can't reproduce this at all, with either version. But side note, I discovered the full res version is missing a bunch of files (can't do anything right apparently lol). Any ideas?

Edit: Do you have any mods that overwrite fxsteamthinanim.dds?

Ohh interesting. I do not have anything overwriting that file. Although I am looking and it seems like, at least in the archive I have, that
fxsteamthinanim is not in the full res version of the effects download.

I dont have the newest version of AIO installed, so Im assuming without that file from effects or the hotfix it was just using the older version of the AIO that had the flicker.

Yeah that would make sense, since the full res didn't have all of the files like it was supposed to. I updated it btw
