    UPDATE 3.1 RELEASED


    The last planned update for Caranthir Tower Reborn is now out for Special Edition after it spent approximately a month in BETA for legacy. Everything should now be fully functional in regards to dark magic and some other bugs have been ironed out. If there are any remaining issues, feel free to post them in the bug reports section, however I'm unsure as to how long it would be before I attempt to correct any outstanding issues. To be perfectly honest, I've poured my heart and soul into this project over the years and it's time for me to move on from this mod. It's simply not fun to mod Caranthir Tower anymore. It is in fact a chore at this point.

    Hi,
    I read a lot of post about the part of "kel do faraan" and many people says that the only thing that he do is killing at stage 5 and the antidote just give you more time.
    So my question : It's that all ? Because I don't really want to restart my game because of hit ? There is a way to cure or it's just a full debuff and nothing else ?

    Edit : I read about the stage one that we need to gain magicka, if we don't win magicka, it's done nothing can fight the imminent death at the end ?

      If you start to lose magicka, then that means the magic has failed and your fate is sealed, the only thing you can do to stay alive is brew and drink the antidote at the final stage.
      There is no full cure for Kel do Faraan, and both the FAQ and the in-game books explicitly warn you about using the scroll.

    A question: Where are staffs stored?
    Because I have searched every inch of the tower and I can't find the storage for staffs(I only found for weapons and arrows).

    I'm having trouble finding where items placed in the Chest of Assortment end up. So far, I've lost soul gems and alchemy ingredients. I expected them to end up at the enchanting and alchemy station storage, but no luck. Is there any documentation detailing where the auto-sort puts things?

    Thank you for making this mod. It must have been very challenging making all the scripts work together like this.
    That said, I will not be downloading it to use as my mage's home. I prefer my player homes to be interconnected
    without a loading screen. Each rooms in your mod, while impressive, makes me feel that I'm just accessing a menu
    to access them. And i don't like that as a pure mage, i am forced to use a sword to defeat the guardian.
    I will still give my endorsement for this mod due to how complex it is. Thanks again.

      Compliment sandwich comments always crack me up.

      Also, using your statement, everything in this game is just an endless stream of accessing menus. Wait...it is isn't it? My immersion!

      Creating a mod of this size requires multiple cells. You would encounter countless issues otherwise resulting in constant crashes and general instability. The best dungeons in the game are split into multiple cells. It's the way Skyrim works I'm afraid.

      eldiabs: I'm surprised such a reply comes from the modder for Deus Mons.
      To think I'm a fan of Domus Dementis which had been my mage's home in Oldrim.
      Any change of porting it to SE? I miss the Genesis Cavern. It is breathtaking.
      Edit: Nevermind, Domus still works in SE. Nice.

    Sorry if it's already been asked, but Lucan's Robes of Coloration... wont spoil where to find them, but does anyone know how to change the colors?

    P.S. It's not an exaggeration to say this might be the best player home I've ever seen from any Elder Scrolls series. Kudos DarkFox on a job very well done.

    Hi, is this safe to install mid playthrough at lvl 40 and with 100 mods? If any cleaning is required, is it safe to clean via SSEEDIT?

    I also have Skyrim Sewers 4, Forgotten Dungeons (SSE), Hammet's Dungeon Packs for SE, Underground - a dungeon texture overhaul,
    Alpine Forest of Whiterun Valley, Grass Field - More colors, Grass Terrain Remade, Majestic Mountains, Simply Bigger Trees SE, Surreal Lighting and Realistic Water Two installed, hoping it will be compatible.

      I need this tower but my game is already modded to Oblivion and beyond, I use the same kind of mods you do and more.

    so I used the kel do faraan, and it said I gained great power. What does that mean? What "great power" do you gain. I didn't see anywhere it was specifically mentioned.

    As someone who put a fair amount of work in skyrim and fallout 3 home mods back in the day, what you've done here is absolutely mind blowing. It's so far beyond anything I ever managed, and I've yet to completely rebuild the tower or find all of its secrets. Wow...just wow. Seriously incredible work. The best home on the special edition nexus, hands down. Thank you for what I can only imagine was an INSANE amount of effort creating this.

    Think it's ok to add at lvl 35 or mid playthrough?
