I had a good laugh when I first dropped down into the well because I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. It's such a clever and crafty idea that I love it. It's small, but efficient and absolutely perfect for some of my characters. With the Solitude overhaul I have, it's conveniently hidden by plants, which is perfect. I like how sneaky it is. Very nicely done!
What I did to make it superb was add some missing worktables via console and then, on the outside, moved the entrance grate to the back of Angeline Aromatics, since I use JKs Skyrim and it adds a very good little space behind this shop with ramps, to make it even more out of the way and "Hidden" .
All of this via console, no need to boot up the ck which takes ages and is super cumbersome.
Hint: The flat enchanting surface meshes very well with the crate right below the entrance/exit.
You can always add the simple enchanting table via console command friend, there is no house these days you can more or less without much knowledge alter a bit to your tastes.
Open the Console and ready to go! All you need to do is get used to the getpos X Y or Z and setpos X Y or Z commands to move it all over the room, and player.placeatme (refid) command to summon into existence any kind of clutter, including tradestations , chairs, rocks or random stuff :) .
Ever think about having a light version with no crafting benches except a cooking pot? Most player homes are OP in my mind and the main culprit is the crafting benches. This home is like a thief hideout to me, and having an entire factory for equipment and alchemy seems unrealistic to me.
alternate version for someone who want it. default version for me is ok, its just a well.
is it possible to add a key for unlocking the home? i don't want to get house for free. perhaps after hard journey or buy from someone, gain a key, its more immersive.
