getting this just to see if it makes "immersive decomposing dead" convincing, since i'm not really sold on the effect of dead bodies looking like preserved draugr.
I've been looking for mods that give Skyrim a darker/scarier atmosphere and I think your mod is absolutly terrifyingly amazing.
However, I still like the mummified look of the vanilla draugrs and your textures are more "fleshy" and they make the draugrs look like they died recently. There's nothing really wrong with that, but it's just not what I'm looking for. I still want them to look like ancient abominations.
I'm not a modder myself and I could nevers make anything better than this, however if there was a way to make the textures look more ancient and grey while keeping the overall style of your mod, that would be absolutely perfect for my game.
SCP-106 in Skyrim isn't real, he can't hurt you. SCP-106 in Skyrim:
Great mod, combined with Immersive Sounds and an ENB that makes dungeons REALLY dark, this actually turns crawling through Nordic ruins into a horror game.
Yes there are fewer varaities now. Females and male Draugr look the same except sometimes the hair. What you can do, is double click the mod (in MO2), go to File Tree. Expand the folders, right click and press hide on two female files.
This will then only replace male Draugr, the female ones will look like normal Draugr.
I wonder if you could make a no-glowing-eyes version of this. It would greatly enhance the rotting corpse / zombie feeling you've given them. For a few reference pictures, see this LE mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38011
Imo, those draugr are almost somewhat terrifying, unlike the vanilla goofy action figure ones with their barbie blue eyes. In other words: this retexture + those eyes?

These textures are truly terrifying.
For some reason, my draugr's turned black. Now they look like inky nightmares.
I don't mind. Now they are harder to see in the dark.
Now they are truly undead horrors. Though I feel like there are fewer variants now.
Still need to check if these textures would show using undead fx + Death consumes all for a horror zombie experience.
