Saw my first train going by today. Was really cool! The only problem was the audio. It sounds like an Atari 2600 train going by and the audio abruptly cuts off when the train enters the tunnel. Is there a way to update or replace the train sounds to something a bit more "real"?
Hi does activating the ship work? Could you intercept a moving ship while on Sailable Ships (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/72070), activate a moving ship and then raid it? Are there crew to fight?
I stood atop the Dawnstar Lighthouse and watched a ship head out to sea, and it was amazing! ...Until it reached LOD changeover distance and instantly disappeared. >.>
I have not run DynDOLOD yet, as I'm still building and testing the current modlist, so I don't know if that will improve things. But in case it doesn't, is there any sort of fix I should know about?
FOLLOWUP: DynDOLOD didn't make a difference; I'm guessing the moving ships don't have LOD data? Either that or the Imperial ship leaving Solitude just slips into the Twilight Zone once it leaves the harbor. ;)

Oh, hey one question; if I rerun SSELODGen and DynDOLOD (I use both), can/will there be LOD for the trains? Distant views from mountain tops etc?
Copy that! I shall. Although, while not knowing enough about it to be sure, I do know that many mods require either Billboards, or LOD-specific meshes. We shall see
