Any chance you'll update this SE mod with a more convenient day/hour (rather than only hour) selector, or even a snazzy new GUI after SKSE64 is released like what was previously planned for the Oldrim mod on which this is based (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12625/?)? Cheers!

I saw an reddit post saying that mod works on sse just by putting data files.
So I guess you can just download that one if you want the same thing.

Thanks; I am using that Oldrim mod in my SE game instead (I find it to be much more convenient than this one), and it seems to work without problems.

So you did a manual download or with a mod manager? I've been looking at this mod for sometime (Talking about No Boring Sleep-Wait Menu)

Works great, no problems using the 744 hour version with SKSE. If I need to skip a month I just set it and grab a cold drink :)

    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/84497?
for people who wants to make time elapses faster while wait and sleep, try this old mod from skyrim, it works for me in se now, no ctd
seems no comflict with this interface mod, every second the hours -1 as usual, but after 50 secs in reality time, 31days passed.
sleeping for 12 hours takes not more than 2 second
    my cpu is i7-8750H

as i am the one who introduce this mod, i must warn about the risk:
1.i haven't use it in sse for too long, not more than 2 days
2.dont know how this mod made it, but it may be not useful for uninstalling mods usually required to wait for 31 days to keep the save safe. use for normal sleep and wait is ok, not found any bugs

    sorry for my english

Or more likely SSE Engine Fixes which include this feature via SKSE plugin.

    This looks interesting.
However, im afraid I have to look at 72h ticking down hour by hour, which takes...long.
Or is that process sped up? Please say yes ._.

Still about three seconds an hour. If you're trying to kill a month for a reset, better go make a sandwich.

The reason why the hours tick by so slowly is because there is a lot of calculating going on in the background. The game is calculating hundreds of radiant AI scripts of all the NPCs in the game world among other things on top of that. To speed things up would spell disaster that would cause serious bugs in the AI and break the game. It's just how the game engine was designed. I don't know how they were able to do an instant time jump with that similar mod for Fallout 4 but in Skyrim, you have to wait.

I just wanted to take the time to thank you for this because it has become increasingly necessary, and to do so without burdening the ESP load no less.

Edit: No matter where I wait, running this for the full 31 days causes an audio queue to start playing over and over again. I think it's the same sound that plays when you kill everything in an area.

Edit 2: Not your mod's fault. The problem triggers around the same time regardless of whether I wait in 1-hour increments or do it all at once.

Finally - our only option to clean save files is here. For now that is.

Apparently too much removing of game mods and installing new stuff might corrupt you're files leaving behind orphaned scripts and such. 31 days apparently helps recycle the world and clean the save from it.

If you take a look here http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Troubleshooting#tab=Mods_and_Savegames.
Scroll down to the section called Clean Savegame Procedure it explains and helps to clean up a savegame, which this mod (I think derived from the original sleep wait mod on Skyrim) will make a lot easier to do as waiting 31 days anywhere is totally tedious.

There is no such thing as a clean save. Orphaned scripts will not get removed by a world reset. The only think long wait times (days) is good for is resetting the world (dungeons, encounter zones, etc). It will not remove old scripts from your save.

However being able to wait for a world reset is a good thing for many other reasons.

Waiting 30 days only helps with game save from bloating, it does not clean up orphaned scripts left from uninstalled mods.

I dont know why, but when waiting or sleeping for a certain amount of time (first I tried 584 then the max of 744) the game just crashes.

Could be some other mod that is causing the crash. I've never experienced it myself.
