Thanks for this mod, can't wait to make playing Skyrim not feel like I'm being punished for my character class choice (my first time playing Skyrim, also as a mage and on Survival Mode...).
After installing/activating the mod (it's the last in the load order) and playing for 4-5 hours I wasn't able to find any such armor in loot and on enemies. Then I went and browsed all shops in Windhelm and didn't see any of the new armors in stock. Then I went to the local tanning rack and didn't see them there either and I thought it's not working at all. After making sure I have the requirements (Enchanting, wolf furs, leather straps) I was able to see them at the tanning rack, yay!
Suggestion: please make it possible to see the new recipes (but to be grayed out) without having the necessary requirements, just like the vanilla crafting recipes. Not even seeing the recipe as possible (even when you don't have all the requirements) is very confusing and makes it seem like the mod is not working at all (plus without seeing it before you have the requirements how are you even supposed to know what's necessary, other than reading the mod description page here but that's no very immersive).
Yes, because I'm not good enough yet to know how to make new models. So, for now, you have to look at the item names to tell what's what. If there's sufficient interest, I may eventually work on a version that uses non-Vanilla models.
EDIT -- I updated the description's 'Compatibility' section to (hopefully) clarify the matter.
