It's set to take a sword holster position but not coded as a dagger. Because for a dagger it is long and was clipping. Just takes a simple edit in nifskope to change
Yeah, I'd like to know how to make the change to daggers too. Making the edit in xedit makes the mesh invisible and not sure how to make the change in nifskope.
Edit: Think I figured it out.
Edit2: I found the setting in nifskope but it doesn't seem to change anything in game even after changing it to dagger in nifskope.
Edit3: Anyone know how to make these daggers without them being invisible in game?
that's a preview I just have the base colors on it right now so it will look darker and more leathery when I am done. Also have a clipping issue with the leg I need to figure out so hopefully be out sometime on the 9th at night (US) time.
Congratulations, its well deserved. Any luck on the grinding stone and underwhelming damage at the moment? So far one handed damage enchants, or anything does not increase them either.
Now, after I downloaded it again, it works. Thank you for the fix. But my character is level 100+, the dagger does only 22 damage and I can't upgrade it at the grindstone. What can I do?
So these level with you, or I'm confused on that. I've been waiting for someone to make these daggers a thing, especially when you made the bloodelf race. They're absolutely gorgeous, do hope to see more coming from you and what else you add to these beauties, I do like how they level with you but I do hope we can use the grindstone on them if you're planning on adding that to them. EDIT: okay the dmg went up at first it was lie 9 or something, so I was confused. whats the percentage like, because I'm like only level 40 something and we're at 25 dmg. If you're into wow, I would say get a good look at some of the other daggers if you feel like being the "dagger" guy that we deserve, I know there is a dagger package. Lets face it the daggers are like such a low priority on skyrim these days it seems.
I am working on sneak tools at the moment the daggers should scale up at the same rate as daggers you would normally find at the level. Although 45 does seem high. I know about the grindstone issue. Ill get around to it just to many things on my list lol
Yeah, no problem. I meant I was level 40, and the weapon damage was 20-25. I love these, I was honestly tired of using chaos blade from GOW dagger version, I love these, they're not absurdly fast and they do quite bit of damage, I use ordinator/sneaktools/ more mods that make this quite difficult for stealthing around. I think if I get some 1handed dmg percentage they will go up? Not entirely sure. Also big fan of your mods, I tried the daggers out on LE & they work btw.
I have been trying to figure out how the game calculates damage with grindstones and stuff so I could properly adjust damage. The damage scales off daggers for the appropriate level. That being said maybe the way I did it is over writing something damage wise.
My goal was to make them balanced through all aspects and level of the game.
