Yeah, that may cause issues for patches. (For instance the WABBAJACK patch.) Although, I'm unsure why they would change the FormIDs since this mod is already an ESPFE. Other than merging the file, I can't think of any reason why renumbering would be necessary.
Now, I think you mean changing the globalvariables manually in xEdit? In that case, that's fine.
Hi, everyone! I'm new to modding and am afraid I may be missing something super simple here, but I'm unsure as to how to activate the dice roll in-game. Do I just press any button on my number pad? Does it matter which one? Do I press something else entirely to roll the dice? Pls snd hlp. Thank ye kindly.

The command "set streamdiceroll_cursetype to x", I've tried all sorts of spelling and word variants and I can't seem to get mine to change. I'm trying to set the curses to last shorter times and it won't recognize the commands.
Try setting it to 0, close the console command menu, wait a little while (1 minute) and save your game. Load that saved game and then set it to the desired value.
Gonna add this to my permadeath runs, sounds very nice! I have two questions and one suggestion for you. I tested the random spawn. Is it maybe possible to make the spawns near the players current level? It's kinda hard to fight a giant or dragon at level one. I was also thinking: Is it save to merge the optional files with the main file? I'm near my plugin limit and may need more mod space soon. My suggestion for you would be to add another roll: "You rolled a 11: You've got a free fast travel." No effect, just that the streamer can use fast travel once thanks to his viewer's roll.
And last but not least: Thanks for that mod, I'm gonna use it all the time while streaming (as soon as my character dies haha)

My suggestion for you would be to add another roll: "You rolled a 11: You've got a free fast travel."
I've considered this in the past, making the player teleport to certain cities, but that's a compatibility nightmare, when used with other landspace mods. For your suggestion, I would prefer the dice roll mod to actually do something, rather than pretending it does something. (which was kinda the reason I made it, to actually enforce the effects in game.)

You can do that, but all the patches and the mod itself are ESL flagged ESPs, so they don't count towards the plugin limit.

I recently added this mod and it is so much fun! Thank you. I do need some help though. I also have Wabbajack and this patch from here but when I get the message that it's WABBAJACK time, nothing happens. I'm thinking I may not have set it up correctly but I'm not sure what I should do. Any help is appreciated.
Oh! I didn't bind it to any key. And I have a tenkeyless keyboard so the game wouldn't recognize any numpad commands... So to be clear, I bind DRotG to a key and WABBA to a different key but I use the DRotG key and it will roll either mod?
Yes, bind DRotG to one key, and bind WABBAJACK to another. Then use the key to roll for DRotG and it will automatically roll for random result which can be from both mods.
OK got the keys set but when I roll and get a WABBA result, it isn't firing off. I'll try reinstalling and another new game to see if that gets it to work. Otherwise, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thank you again for replying!
It doesn't fire at all with the WABBA key. Only with the Dice Roll key from this mod but I don't get any result. I thought maybe it was load order. I sorted the plugins with LOOT but maybe the mods in the left panel are wrong. I'll try reinstalling WABBA and reset the key again.
Edit to Add: I tried on a new game. The separate button for WABBA works but when I roll with the DRotG button and get a WABBA result. nothing happens. I think I will just separate them in my streams and let people choose which dice to roll. I don't know what else to try
I am very new to the modding on skyrim. and i really want to add the dice roll. but when trying to use the keybind nothing happens. it shows everything is running fine in vortex nothing is conflicting and have all the requirements downloaded. i have tried to set the keybind to a new key and it says that the command is unrecognized. Im sure im doing something wrong. but i cant figure it out. could someone please help?
Would it be possible to have an optional file that adds a power to the player and enables them to select an effect in a pop up menu. Viewers could redeem stream currencies for certain outcomes.
