Was only able to find an le version, it was esl though and I thought esl was only an se thing, maybe I'm wrong lol. Any ideas on where to find the se version of the ears?
Not all requirements. I had a similar situation. I just changed the face tattoo section in Racemenu to the one that I have installed. The complexion returned to normal. I immediately saved the fix and overwritten it to Anita's preset.
For some reason both presets have the face overlay from The Warded Man (Wardsface) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/45434?tab=files . The .jslot file even shows it in a JNF directory (overlays/JNF/Wardsface.dds) just like that mod has. I'm assuming this isn't intentional since none of the screen shots show that overlay and it would ruin an otherwise great preset.
Wardsface is actually the little glitter I have under the eyes. A friend modified an overlay called Wardsface (nothing to do with warded man, it was like an ice tattoo) and transform it into glitter. I removed it in Racemenu because it's just a small thing made by a friend, and private, but the name still be in jslot, and one year ago, I didn't know how to remove it and then I just forgot. That's not a big matter, since it doesn't appear in game.
Ah ok, but it is the source of the white face / missing overlay problem people report. It's simple to remove by just setting the texture to default... but as you've pointed out, a lot of people don't really understand how to use racemenu. Thanks for the response and I love your work. Every time I make a new character your presets have a very strong influence over what race I choose.
this man found the problem AND solution for the problem everyone has but gets basicly ignored and the problem gets blamed on the people not understanding how to use paint sliders while there is not a single paint slider that causes the issue.
it would be great if there could be a fixed json so ppl dont have to think they did something wrong when told its just a slider issue
For those who have a hard time following the exchange of information: (1) Load this preset, ensure it is active (2) While in game, in RaceMenu, go to the Face Paint tab (2a) The "WardsFace" is the color you want to modify (2b) Select WardsFace and on the lowest option move the slider to the left. (3) Do yourself a favor and re-save the preset (overwrite the primary preset, or rename as desired)
For people saying they can't find high poly head mod, here is Vectors gdrive upload for it. I have the link saved in a personal discord I use for keeping notes on games, highly recommend doing something similar!
