Hello there, the easiest way for us to help you is to open a ticket for our support staff in our discord server, very likely you are missing a required mod or something along those lines

I joined the discord, but I can't find a walkthrough anywhere.  I'm stuck at the point where I've defeated Alduin, but when I talk to Malkorvik, it still says I need to grow my power.  Not sure what to do next.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong here.  I read the magic note, and figured I should go to Azura's shrine.  I found Malkorvik standing there, but when I tried to talk to him, nothing happens.  I didn't even get that little click sound when you select something.  It's like he's not there.  So, I thought, maybe I need to do the Azura's shrine quest first.  Did that, but still nothing from Malkorvik.  He just stands there.

I turned on subtitles, in case there was some unvoiced dialogue, but nope.  I have Relationship Dialogue Overhaul as well.  Do you think that is conflicting somehow?  Or am I just missing something in the gameplay?

When this mod is eventually updated would it be possible to have multiple types of daedra to play as ? I get that the dremora are the goto for most daedric princes but to be able to play as the Xivkyn or Xivilai would be awesome and fit well with the mods backstory

currently I have a specific playthrough in mind so I won't be downloading at this time but you can bet your bottom dollar once I start my new playthrough (maybe a dremora spellsword using the robes that you can loot from dremora with Zim's dremora improvements) I'll definitely swing by and grab this mod also i have to ask is the player voiced as well? (you know the grunts and shouts)

Hello there Ausarq! Glad to hear you'll be using the mod! Currently the mod uses the default sounds so should be nord voice for shouts, grunts and such would also be nord unless you are in daedra form, then it should use the Daedric grunts and all. In the future versions, we will use our own voices and such!

cool one other question what is the "Actorproxy(race)" keyword for the daedra race. ie the timelost dwemer has the dark elf one so npcs (and inigo) will treat dwemer characters as dark elves

Hello, first off I would like to say I love your mods! Thank you for the hard work you put In. I love the lore tyin with the mod! Second I believe I found an audio bug where Malkorvik speaks incredibly low even with my volume all the way up.

Hello there Kyle! Thank you very much! Unfortunately yes, we used a few amateur voice actors for the characters in the initial versions of the mods and due to the poor audio quality it was hard to make it work for Skyrim. When we resume work on these mods after releasing our game, then we will fix all of these issues in the full version of the mod.

This mod probably isn't going to get updated soon, but I wanted to address some things
1: Joining the discord server and getting access isn't very simple, its not complicated, but there is no "React here to access the server", when joining the server, you are greeted by the news channel, instead of the welcome channel, most people probably won't check the welcome channel since generally it just shows who joined and left, going to the rules channel, there is a thumbs up reaction that most people would assume is the reaction needed to join the server, but nope, just there for decoration or something, going to the welcome channel, assuming they don't just skip right to the important links channel, you see "Hello! Thank you for joining our community! Please be sure to read through the rules, and once you have come back here and select your fan role! If you choose No-Ping, you won't receive notifications for any minor announcements! Otherwise, thank you again and have fun!", this may not apply now, but at the time, a lot of people would just not react, because they don't care for any of the announcements, they only wanted the guide, there should have been some mention of the fact that you need one of the two roles to access the server

2: Regarding the note and needing to know the lore of Elder Scrolls to be able to figure it out, is pretty dumb, considering a lot of peopling installing mods, don't start by playing the base game, if you've encountered or done the House of Horrors quest, then you probably remember the location of the top of your head, if you haven't encountered the quest or just started modding, you know nothing, and are forced to join the discord to get a walk through, also, same thing with the "I need to get stronger" part of the quest, there is nothing in that line that indicates I need to kill the final boss, and needing to do that is just extremely boring, especially for the people that have already completed the main quest

3: There were times where you mentioned not doing this or that due to balancing reasons, but this mod isn't really balanced anyway, the Daedric Lightning Strike kinda just let me breeze through, and I haven't even gotten to test the tier 3 spells 1 because I just don't have enough magika, and 2 because Paralyzing Daedric Thunderbolt just wont get added to my inventory, even after trying to add it with console commands, it just says "Paralyzing Daedric Thunderbolt was not added to my inventory"

Thats basically all I got in my head rn might make another comment later but those were the main things I wanted to talk about

Edit: Also reaching tier 3 Daedra is kinda a nerf, since it removes all the items you get for turning into a Daedra and just makes you tall and have more stats I think

Hello gamerlogic! To reply to your post,

Firstly, while yes we want to make the discord accessible to everyone, we also implemented the process the way we did to prevent bot access and bot spam, which is clearly working as we have not had any bot issues / spams / scams at all with our server. To us, one of the most important things is the safety and privacy of the community. The reason we use this method, is because most people hate doing captcha or any of those other tedious options and will usually just ignore it anyway. So this method is a little easier.

Secondly, to you, that may be dumb, but since this is meant to be a lore-inclusive, lore-friendly, and immersive mod, Elder Scrolls lore is extremely important to the mod and very relevant to the story of the series itself, these puzzles are added to help slow pacing and cause the player to explore more of the world.

Thirdly, due to the nature of modding, we can not guess what mods people use to modify difficulties or add new spells etc etc or if people do not use them at all. So yes, a lot of things that have been asked for, if we turned them away for balancing purposes, it's because it doesn't balance well with the current dev version of the mod series which includes more than what it here on the nexus. Including our own AI overhaul. Our balancing is based around playing on a higher than average difficulty in vanilla, or on using some of the main combat overhauls like wildcat or similar. Once the full mod series is released for you guys, it will be easier to understand the balancing. Again, a lot of this is adjusted for balancing based on the versions of the mods we have in development, Tier 3 definitely isn't a nerf, since it's intended for the player to have better gear and spells at the time of reaching it. (This is why it is meant to be achieved in the late game, after killing Alduin.) Not only does it increase your stats, but allows you to use your own equipment which at that point should be better than what is provided. Not to mention, again these versions of the mods are unfinished, so there is a lot more to be seen when we are able to return our focus to the mods.

We thank you for your comment and for playing the mods.

I have scanned through the game and can not find where you're supposed to go to find the lonly altar as there are multiple "altars" in game but only three are called altars in game can we at least get what hold the lonly altar is in. And if your going to say the game as enough information to complete the quest all i have to say is your a f###ing asshole there are MULTIPLE different altars around the in game map most of which are unmapped

If you pay attention to the lore in the note. There is plenty of info. It's a riddle. Don't call me an a-hole because you can't figure it out. There is also a discord link, so that if you're struggling that much you can get a walk-through. There is plenty of ways to figure this out. No reason to come on here and be rude.
