Hi there, this seems like a good mod. I might try it sometimes, i do have a small question though.

I read among the given perks that the perk (devastating blow) was given to some of the assassins. Why did you give that perk to assassins? You see, devastating blow is a 2 handed perk. And the perk they should have instead of that one is (savage strike). Not really nitpicking or something, just curious if you put the wrong perk here on the site or if you have given them the wrong perk.

    With high regards,

    Reinyn

Looks interesting mod. The original assassins cannot have their armor looted - this stays the same? Thanks for mod.

Shucks. I downloaded this to try out, yet I cannot use it for I can only be a female in the races of Khajiit, Imperial and Argonian. I play as a Bosmer (Wood Elf) yet I would have to play as a male instead of a female.

Any chance that females will be included in the races or am I reading it wrong?

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean - this mod only adds new NPCs for racial diversity to the "Assassin" leveled list. These are the guys who attack you out of nowhere during a random world encounter (see screenshot) - with this mod installed there's a chance of encountering a Nord/Imperial/Wood Elf/Khajiit/Argonian/Dark Elf asssassin. It doesn't affect or is affected by the race you play as

Ok. I understand. I read it wrong and thought that one had to be, for example, a (M) Wood Elf, the (M) standing for male. I thought meant that in order to play as an assassin with this mod, one had to be one of those races. Did not even think about the people who pop out and try to assassinate ones player. Sorry about that. Too much studying I guess for it left me brain dead when I read the description. Thanks for the reply and sorry for mis-understanding.

A few things I wish to ask.

-Could this work with the Elite/Expanded Crossbow Pack from Creation Club, where the more higher the level of the Assassin becomes, the stronger the crossbow variant becomes from simple and common Steel to all the way up to Enhanced Daedric Crossbows. No Dragonbone Crossbows of course because I believe that Dragonbone weapons and armor should be something exclusive to the Dragonborn. Same with other crossbows like Silver, Imperial, or Stalhrim.

-Would these Assassins use poisons for their weapons, or at the very least the more higher level Assassins such as damage health, paralysis, weaken skill or resistances, those kinds of poisons that would make the combat more quicker for them and more of a challenge for you. Seems a bit odd for an assassin, especially a high ranked assassin, to not use poisons to help them.

-Would something like Ordinator work with this mod, since Ordinator overhauls the perk system I was wondering if this would cause issues with the Assassin and their perks?

      - I don't use any Creation Club content so thats a no from me. It won't work out of the box either I'm afraid. Making a patch would be easy to do though: Just edit the "LItemAssassinGearRangedPrimary" leveled list that decides whether a spawned assassin receives a crossbow or a bow -> add the desired crossbows and bolts (either to the list itself or to the crossbow one, depending on whether you want assassins to only have crossbows or also bows), add level restrictions (e.g. 6 for normal steel crossbow, 12 for the next tier, 18 for the one above that, etc) and thats about it. Just make sure to do the same to the Brotherhood Silencer gear list since they receive different weapons

      - I fully agree, I use Smart NPC Potions for this reason: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40102?tab=description. It recognizes the assassins added by this mod and you will face poison every once in a while with it enabled

      - Yep, definitely. Ordinator already does all of the work on its own - all perks I've added are also used by other vanilla NPCs which Ordinator "converts" to NPC appropriate perks, even if they're not available to the player anymore

Oh this sounds really cool, thanks for putting this together! Now to go rankle some folks so they'll send somebody to try and kill me and I can enjoy it in game lol...

Downloaded, will give this a go.  Is the patch specific to Faction Crossbows or will it also work with Legendary Crossbows, please?

Only works with Faction Crossbows as it requires Faction Crossbows.esp as master. I just checked the Legendary Crossbows page and it doesn't go into any detail in terms of patch permissions and such so I'll refrain from posting a patch but creating your own patch is rather simple - you can use the Faction Crossbows patch as a reference point and just swap the weapon/ammunition records
